  • watwer hose dude...it's a water hose...

  • @FatZeroPL Really? You don't know what a fire hose is?

  • @FatZeroPL stfu dude you dont even know how to spell water learn to spell when your dissing someone or just dont diss at all ....

  • Can someone explain to me a few things? How does he make energy flow through him without moving? And also do u require to be strong to move ur arm up while ur still being grabbed? Or does the technique of the move eliminate ur opponents strength from the equation.

  • The attacker is pushed/pulled off balance, so he loses most of his strength. There is no strength required to do this. It might look easy, but that is only because these guys have years and years of practice. Most of these moves are divided into three steps - entering, disrupting balance and the finish. The pain of joints moving in ways they're not supposed to eliminates all strength. In a self defense situation you don't have to be careful with your attacker, like these two are.

  • I'm a new student of Aikido. We practiced this technique Wednesday. The effectiveness is founded in the science of momentum and kinetic energy. It's all about putting the attacker in awkward positions that put you in total control of their movement by shifting their movement with your own. So, no, you do not need to be strong. And yes, the techniques, when properly performed, remove strength from the equation.

  • @ryjisa I just want to add that although the ideal is to be able to manipulate the attacker without using your own strength, being strong does give you an undeinable edge, even in Aikido.

  • i wont speak for him or anyone else but i will say that when i do this techniques i imagine holding a knife in the hand thats grabbed now if u think about it while your watching this video that might help you understand a few things about aikido

  • @JarJarAssault For the energy part : In most of the japanese martial arts energy come from the center of your body and flow to all of you're body part. Even when you're not moving energy, from all over your body still flow in your arms, chest and legs...So by chaneling energy when you are relaxed you can go around the strenght of your attacker. Anyway, that's my way of understanding. Hope it helped out =)

  • Pinky tucked behind. Nice little touch I've never heard of before. Feels like it adds a finger lock to all the other nasty things going on. Thank you.

  • To FlashySenap: Extend, turn your hand over, step on the gas pedal, take a right turn at about 30 mph.
