It is one thing her song reminds us of certain other songs, but the outfit and the Madonna-ish singing give an impression of her to be playing a part when performing, rather than being an artist with an expression of her own. The "Every heartbeat calling your name"-bit sounds just like Madonna - so does her stage outfit, by the way. Love the singer and the song, but think they took the Madonna imitation a bit too far. A more neutral look would have been wiser, in my opinion. But the song and singer is great. In fact Denmark had a very strong line-up this year.

The song has potential, but both the arrangement and the lyrics definitely fall on the tasteless side, and seem to rip off Robyn a bit too much with both the beat and synths as well as the lyrics recalling Robyn's "With Every Heartbeat".

The lyrics are cliche-ridden in general: "only you can make me high", "stay, don't leave me this way", "baby, you're my only remedy".

@kubluu Don`t forget this is a genre song in the Dance cathegory. The beat and rhytm is king and queen - everything else takes, third, fourth or fifth chair. So the lyrics doesn`t have to be original, as long as they move nicely with the rhytm and beat of the song. Besides a dance song almost always is a duet of sorts between the singer and the synth sounds - giving each of them solos, where the other is abscent, or just do back up. Robyn`s song is more in the Røyksopp field of electronica.
