You and I have different interpretations of the word "compress." Compress as I understand it, in files, is to lower the quality to conserve space. If you are talking about the file type, I'd have to disagree. This was .mov file. I've never converted an .mov to an mpg or any other file type and have "higher quality" option appear -- it's only happened with .mov. Once again, I did NOT make the video and therefore didn't take part in the actual "footage editing."

Nevermind, I just checked the file type, and it's actually an flv that I uploaded it as. I couldn't upload it as an .mov which would enable the "higher quality" option at the bottom because someone already uploaded the video as an .mov and duplicate uploads are rejected. So that's why the "compression" isn't the way 'you' want it.
