So, for the metering pipe that sit in between the two valves..how big does that pipe need to be?? Or does it just matter how many psi you put into it??
sweet spud gun man love the way its setup i have to put mapp gas in the back wer ur supposed to put hairspray ect my next one is gonna be more like yours but is the fan needed?
@TheTaylorfam1988 The new gun doesn't have a fan it in, I just built it for kicks rather than power. It would do a lot better if it had a longer barrel too. I like the size though, light enough to be used by pretty much anyone.
The gas meter on the new gun still has 2 valves. There's a valve right on the front of the mapp gas bottle. The old gun actually had 3 valves, and I decided the one in the middle wasn't really needed.
Nicely made spudgun! I posted a video for you how we celebrate new year's day with what we call carbid shooting. It's a mixture of air and acetylene gas in a tank. Then we shoot footballs out of it. Greetings from Holland!
@ArmedZagi if you file the outside edge of the muzzle to form a sharp edge you will get much tighter fit resulting in improved ballistics. just smash the potato onto the muzzle and it will cut out a perfect plug every time.

@KSCPERFECT The size doesn't matter too much. You just need to adjust the psi accordingly.

Cool Gun. Does your new gun have the fan in it? Explain your 2 valve system vs. 1 valve system. Cool Vette as well.
