Animals eat animals, and animals kill each others to eat or to protect themselves. That is Nature and we are on top of the food chain, that's a fact and there is nothing immoral there. That aside, animal cruelty is another whole different story. Another great issue is the overconsumption of natural resources due to overpopulation of humans in the world. That is the key point of the Malthusian catastrophe. Literally the only way to remove the root of this imbalance is by controlling birthrate.
