She was being aboused (I don't know by who but apperantly it was of physical nature) nad Dex knew it but didn't do anything about it. So this is a song about abuse, pain and guilt.

Me too. They're always in Japan or somewhere other than the east coast of the US where I'm at. They came to Baltimore for the Virgin Mobile festival with the Foo Fighters, but I missed out on that too. I really wish I was there for this KROQ's AAC. Rise Against and The Offspring on the same night would've been a great show to see.
