At the beginning of the video you say to tune back 2 semitones. You only tune back one. This song was written in D#C#G#F#A#D#, tuned 1/2 step or 1 semi tone down from standard tuning.

No I was right. You tune back 2 semitones like I did.. 2 semitones=1 tone. I know all guns roses songs are tuned back 1 semitone.. but this one, you need 2 semitones.

i am 15 and started guitar this year, i knew the intro to stairway to heaven within the first month of learning and i'd like to think im doing good except now i'm at a point where im stuck...i really want to get better and am trying to learn the solo's for this but i got a les paul not a gibson but some company called soho it's supposed to be a starting guitar and i dont know how to get a tone close to the november rain tone because i know ill never actually get the exact tone with this guitar.

I don't know if you know, but all guns roses songs are played 1 semitone lower. So tune your guitar back 1 semitone.. There you go.. now you can play along with the gunners records.

um ataliasilva i know a guy who bought a banjo at 60 it was his firt instrument and he learnt so i he can at 60 you can at 19 and what are you talking about 19 isnt even close to being old go buy a guitar and dedicate 30 mins a day and watch videos on youtube they have great lessons :)
