GOD FORBID the humble "consumer" suddenly regurgitates the force fed CRAP and stands up and chooses to be something other than a meatbot obeying obeying buying consumng not thinking.. and most of taggers are male. it's worst not worse for girls Rock On keep it up and Flying Fnord is right..it's your show. but be Careful!
The Toronto transit system is so short of funds that it now sells all space in a station (including floors, ceilings, walls, pillars and turnstiles) and entire subway cars (and even their exteriors) to a single advertiser. So wherever you look, you MUST see the sponsor's ads. There is no escape from being held visually hostage like this, but some people do add their own comments to the ads, especially in stations on the university campus. And I always boycott the companies who place these ads.
Doug... the they is you. the choice is yours. if you want it done in toronto, then do it. Doug, the time is now! don't sit back and wait for someone else to do it. don't be so passive. Come on, man!
true that, i just hit every stop sign in my neighborhood with "stop war", "stop buying", "stop wal-mart", etc. it was so cool, i'm only 15 and it was my first attempt at jamming. i'd say it went pretty well considering kids were talking about it at my school.
Right on! I'm "only" 18, but I recommend you don't advertise the information of what you bust online or anywhere really, as you can get some serious fines. Be discrete. As discrete as you possibly can. And have as much fun and be as creative as you possibly can. There are cameras everywhere.
aweeesoommmeee!!! exactly the message that needs to go around! infinite uncondtional love! I am a Sikh and this is exactly the essense, the essense of all religions. great stuff!
Nice one Dave... the tube is a perfect adbusting location.. disconnected people, bright artificial light, loud noise, and adverts their only escape.
The art, especially the co-ordinated rainbow side, seemed to do it's job of making them smile and think. I would have liked to see longer closeups of the art in the video, and more passenger reactions too.
Anyway it's great to leave the tube feeling peaceful, inspired and uplifted, so looking forward to more actions mate.
I'd love to be able to read what all the un-ads said - culd only read one :)

A city without graffiti must be a poor place indeed.
For it's people have nothing to say.
