Interesting Video. Thanks for Posting. There are several versions of the slingbow all over the web including YouTube, I have many of the more interesting concepts on my Favorites List. Some are pretty radical in design but they all function on the same principle. I found a U.S. Patent with diagram of one model. The maker of the FALCON Xtreme Series claims to have invented THE Original 7 Years ago. A slingbow, fishing kit, and takedown arrows are definitely going in my Bugout Pack.

I think in the comment bellow your video you should always include a link to the original creator of the item as it avoids confusion & gives more credit to the creator. Anyway moving onto a flaw you might want to improve.

You should not use string. Use a heavy lb fishing line, not string. See when you fired it a second time? All that wet line is creating drag on the arrow in multiple directions making it's flight inconsistent & inaccurate. Change to a fishing line & you'll get better results.

@MrDeermaster Dave didn't invent the sling bow, he even said in his first video about the sling bow he got the idea off what others have said about it, so Dave was just showing us how to adapt a slingshot to fire arrows, someone else told him and he tryed it and it worked, you need to re- watch that video Dave made.

awsome video,i tryed the bottle a couple different ways and couldnt get it to work so i got a old metal fishing reel and welded it on to the bottom bar under the handle and it works great i havnt shot a fish yet but ive practiced and it works welll but anyways great video

That line is a bit to big, why not fishing line then you will get more range.

I have several bows, and for whatever reason, ive had two of these marksman slingshots floating around for what seems like forever... In all that time it never dawned on me that you could fasten a whiskerbiscuit to the wrist rocket and shoot an arrow out of it..... and now i guess it has.. Thanks, great vid.
