apple just reacted on the fact that the service isn't great if you hold in in your hand and they said that if you hold your hand on the 2 strips it will lose connection so you have to hold it in another way or you just buy a case because than you don't hit the 2 strips ;)

the issue is the same with an electric guitar. You might assume the guitar gets grounded when you touch the strings, however you are the one being grounded. There were similar issues with the Prius and the solar panel roof. Lots of small circuits like your typical accelerometer have actual loops for noise that merely require a cap of the right frequency. Put a 10mF cap between input 4 and 12 and viola no noise. Good thinking pdye723.

@pdye723 There are always minor flaws that make it into the first run of any new hardware or gadget. The first PS2's had bad lasers; the first DS Lites had flawed hinges. The point is that early adoption is always a risk, and we can see that the iPhone 4G is no exception.
