  • Jay; I agree with you 100% it's the fuel not the car, so why do we have to build a car to compete in this contest?

    We at h21o . com are working with HHO, an on board, on demand, fuel system that can be retrofitted to most all vehicles on the market today...

    I'll admit we're no where close to giving every vehicle made 100 plus miles per gallon, but who cares? Waters Free right now...

  • I find it kinda odd that in all the play lists for the x-prize, nothing has had over even 3K views. To enter is expensive and the requirements knocks out most prototype in hand inventors. Those with deep pockets and politically tied grant writers will make it in.

  • Maybe it's not rethinking the car or the fuel necessarily, but also rethinking how and why we get around as a culture. Maybe we should rethink how a city is structured and look at the most frequent uses of cars/transportation by people and make those experiences more efficient.

    These built in efficiencies should further offset the 100 mpg car.

    Nothing lives in a vacuum, context is king.
