MacMillan's choreography doesn't imply such relationship in other parts of this ballet, but true, it does make sense if you take it that the two were lovers.

Some choreographers have gone further in this interpretation. Neumeier's version of Romeo and Juliet actually show Lady Capulet and Tybalt flirting behind Lord Capulet's back ;-)

@extra123hermit And don't forget Nureyev's version. If memory serves, they partner each other during the Dance of the Knights, and they were flirting behind Capulet's back as well

@SuperBalletgirl101 He's Capulet's nephew. Lady Capulet has no familial relationship to him and she's only 28 - Tybalt is 21 and Capulet i almost in his 50s
