Nothing wrong with a Chinese washer pump; just have to make sure you change the oil once a year and make sure the pump is dry in the winter.

I've got the generator putting out power again!, just need to re-sync the frequency.

it failed because of a bad capacitor in the terminal box.

nah that was a 6hp Johnson outboard, from a different supplier.
