@metalsnake27 if it didn't go out of control for a while we would probably have adds between matches, because the only reason they pushed premium was because they were running out of cash,which is why the capsule rain events came around and ruined it for a while, but a bunch of the people who got permanent super premium weapons quit and i think its mostly under control now. plus they broke the fumbi shop so its really easy to win now.

More weapons have been added, PEN prices have been fixed and more items are in the PEN shop now as well, there's tons of new maps- and as an added bonus the community is even more lively and still just as friendly as before.
I highly suggest giving the game a shot. And hey it's free- you have nothing to lose.

loving the constant relation to gunz's players' superhuman hands lol its not that hard to K-style when u get the hang of it - the only thing u didnt mention about S4 is that it requires a decent graphics card which unfortunately i lack until i buy my new one although ur review has really made me want to play it ^_^
the game's community has grown alot lately, and no, i don't mean grown as in "grown up", there are people everywhere calling you a "noob" for killing them correct me if i'm wrong, but that's the whole point of the game - to shoot the hell out of people. there are one or two TouchDown (TD) maps in which it's much easier to score in oppose to other maps, which is why 90% of the TD rooms are on that certain map(s). personally i like the harder maps better tho, more of a challenge, really.
I know what you mean about the community. If you kill someone then you're a noob, and if you and a teammate kill someone it's 2v1 and unfair. I hate kids like that.

1) At the time of the filming, the game was pretty new: No Duh there are so little modes. Also, I think they want game modes that have complete different goals then each other (excluding mindless killing).
2) The community doesnt talk if you don't talk to them, and they usually read your input.
Rail gun does not kill in one hit if u hit the legs or the arms it is weakened by a lot and if the opponent has armor u may not kill em in one hit unless u get the head

=/ Dude, it seems your playing in begginer only, try free channel. In free channel the community is sure as hell not dry, EVERYONE talks. There may be lack of gameplay modes, but the huge amount of maps, and the huge amount of unique weapons make up for those. Also, there wouldn't be 2 modes, theres gonna be much more such as Arcade and Chaser(Fun :D), and even... more weapons >_>. I suggest you update this review when possible. :o Overall, the review is great, specially the part with GunZ. ._.
Err, it really isn't anything like Counterstrike. Counterstrike is a creep, camp, and die game, while this is more a spray and pray, roll, reload, die game. :p
If you like Counterstrike, you need True Combat:Elite. It's probably the best CS clone ever, and maybe ever better then CS itself.

Man.. this game is so awesome. I was hooked the first 30 minutes I began playing. The overall feel and look of the game is just perfect, music is awesome too. Don't bother buying AP though.. the stuff you buy with AP is limited-use. My friend found this out the hard way.

this game IS better than GunZ, but the player customization is only a little better than GunZ, cos you start out with not much customization, but you could buy clothes later on in the game
Actually in most of the Touchdown matches i've played, we've worked as a team and talked to each other. I helped organize strategies and things like that. But you highlighted everything good and bad. I liked the review, and I agree with you on it.
the community isn't all that bad though, it just depends on who's on your team, I've had to play through some Touch down matches with some players who want to "be the hero" and rush for the fumbi but there are other times when the team will go all in SWAT style.
atleast there will be new game modes like a story thing with missions (the koreans already have it) and this game is only about a year old so it will get better :D and i agree with your review scoreing for this game :P
this game is great. a better version of gunz toned down and without all the crap. i just wish they would add like a quest type thing but i really like this game
ooh pretty good review, I've been playing for a while now I'll have to agree with you on most points.
But regarding the communication aspect of the game, the game does have basic quick command features available by pressing q or e then the respective number like q2 is defend the headquarters.
And the community, at least the people who stick around, are usually pretty talkative and very stupid in a good way xD anyways, hope i see some of you guys in-game it's definitely worth your time.
They also have other features not coming out yet, but their out in the Korean S4League such as a clan feature, and theres also a unit feature where if you got a buddy who your teamed up with is in the same game/team you can get 1.5x exp. there are lots of good things to come to this game

Nah, they added most the KR maps since this review was posted. Nenden1 Nenden2 Nenden3 Circle Highway Station1 Station2 Oldschool Tunnel Station2 and Nenden1 being the best.
Lol I played this game back when it was on the korean server. It was crazy back then everyone used snipers and u get like 2 seconds to live. Now i use a rail gun and am the bitch.
the problem with this game is that the programming is not normal. Everything is figured different than every other game I know of, and sometimes it causes much worse effects (like the laggers not being able to die)

I started playing it and im really addicted, I got some friends in the communioty already which surprises me. I really like it. The half time amuses me.
Laggers are the worst, if not the only, big issue with this game. Other wise its a great game. Normally this wouldn't be a problem with the game itself, but the game effectively gives them invincibility to reward bad ping. This is a real problem in TD, you can ignore them in death match, but you just have to watch them score in TD and you can't stop them.
To counter the fact that nobody's going to sit there and type in the heat of combat, there are some voice commands you can issue to the team. Attack, defend, reset the ball, that sort of thing.
My only real complaint would be the laggers. The only indication that they ARE lagging is the symbol above their head. You can't hit them, they can't hit you, but it doesn't stop them from capping the ball in Touchdown mode. That gets frustrating.
There are more bad points about the game that were missed out. A. The issue with laggers and B. The amount of exploits, bugs and lack of game currency (PEN). It takes one week to buy 1 permanent weapon or skill. K-style is also being looked at already in S4 League. Good point, the game is very addictive and well worth a try. - DataDrain
This game is really good, although if your looking in the right place the community does talk, alot more then you would expect even in Death Match. Guess you just had bad luck. Good review by the way

on lunia the prenium system isn't fucked, that's just gunz and soldier front thankfully lol i only play drift city and lunia and the prenium system for them is actually quite good, and no glitches on those games safe to say.
i think the rail gun is also pretty balanced, it takes for ever to charge...

I agree, this game desperately needs an "Area Control" or "Attack/Defend" (ala Team Fortress 2) game mode.
Other than that, THIS. GAME. IS. FUN.

The weakness of the railgun is that the shot has travel time.
Cash-members also gets extra money and equipment upgrades from some of the equipment they buy with real money.

Actually in most of the Touchdown matches i've played, we've worked as a team and talked to each other. I helped organize strategies and things like that. But you highlighted everything good and bad. I liked the review, and I agree with you on it.

There's supposed to be a PSP version, but I don't know if the PSP version is released outside Korea/Japan.

the community isn't all that bad though, it just depends on who's on your team, I've had to play through some Touch down matches with some players who want to "be the hero" and rush for the fumbi but there are other times when the team will go all in SWAT style.

atleast there will be new game modes like a story thing with missions (the koreans already have it) and this game is only about a year old so it will get better :D and i agree with your review scoreing for this game :P

ooh pretty good review, I've been playing for a while now I'll have to agree with you on most points.
But regarding the communication aspect of the game, the game does have basic quick command features available by pressing q or e then the respective number like q2 is defend the headquarters.
And the community, at least the people who stick around, are usually pretty talkative and very stupid in a good way xD anyways, hope i see some of you guys in-game it's definitely worth your time.

They also have other features not coming out yet, but their out in the Korean S4League such as a clan feature, and theres also a unit feature where if you got a buddy who your teamed up with is in the same game/team you can get 1.5x exp. there are lots of good things to come to this game

Lol I played this game back when it was on the korean server. It was crazy back then everyone used snipers and u get like 2 seconds to live. Now i use a rail gun and am the bitch.

the problem with this game is that the programming is not normal. Everything is figured different than every other game I know of, and sometimes it causes much worse effects (like the laggers not being able to die)

This game is good but conditional laggers are what i hate the most, "conditional laggers" are laggers who can hurt you but u cannot hurt

Laggers are the worst, if not the only, big issue with this game. Other wise its a great game. Normally this wouldn't be a problem with the game itself, but the game effectively gives them invincibility to reward bad ping. This is a real problem in TD, you can ignore them in death match, but you just have to watch them score in TD and you can't stop them.

To counter the fact that nobody's going to sit there and type in the heat of combat, there are some voice commands you can issue to the team. Attack, defend, reset the ball, that sort of thing.
My only real complaint would be the laggers. The only indication that they ARE lagging is the symbol above their head. You can't hit them, they can't hit you, but it doesn't stop them from capping the ball in Touchdown mode. That gets frustrating.

There are more bad points about the game that were missed out. A. The issue with laggers and B. The amount of exploits, bugs and lack of game currency (PEN). It takes one week to buy 1 permanent weapon or skill. K-style is also being looked at already in S4 League. Good point, the game is very addictive and well worth a try. - DataDrain

you know when me and napalm first started playing before the servers went down for its official release. there were no laggers at all
only now has this problem sprung up and it hurts to see such a good game faulted by latency
k-style in S4 wud = awesome or it could = cheap tactics

on lunia the prenium system isn't fucked, that's just gunz and soldier front thankfully lol i only play drift city and lunia and the prenium system for them is actually quite good, and no glitches on those games safe to say.
