I saw someone do exactly the same thing at exactly the same bend in a Honda NSX. Then I tackled the Combe in my old 5 Series. Completely, and I mean completely, burnt the brakes out in 4 laps and nearly t-boned a spinning Cobra. The Combe does not forgive.

All recent BMW's have ASC/DSC to help prevent oversteer but it can be turned off and this would be the result.

Those tire barriers seem to be quite inappropriate at this particular corner, contributing to the massive damage. The cars dig in and start to spin, a regular armco or runoff area would certainly be less intrusive.

One of the trickiest corners in the country to be fair. You're approaching pretty much flat out and have to brake and turn over a crest....kind f the worst combination possible. Not one for the faint hearted, and catches out plenty of novices! Definitely wins on style points though ;)

at this speed the car HAVE TO think an accident...the nose of the car hitted on the tires and then the car was going around! Also when when the car hits those tires the speed of car is been reduced so fast and the result is the high power of G..G power is one of the reasons to open the airbags..so buy an audi, mercedes, opel, porsche, vw or something other but not bmw..at the crash tests seems safe...at the real life seems deadly!

Maybe take a look at Castle Combe - Avon Rise into Quarry is considered one of the hardest and best corner complexes in UK motorsport. Very difficult to be quick through it. TC wouldn't have helped in this case...
