It's sad. But Jesus spoke of the falling away of the end times. Giving heed to the doctrines of devils. Having itching ears they heap up teachers for themselves. So much was said to warn us of this happening. And here it is right before us in our own lifetime. The evidence is so heavy. Surely the time is so very short. So true! Having different version DOES cause division. I find myself not wanting to go to Bible studies because there's different versions being used, causing confusion. My wife and I nearly had an argument in church about which word(s) seemed more correct, either her NIV or my KJV. If it were up to me, we'd find a KJVO church. Tough situation because most people dont care about the facts. Christianity IS a mess! Many Bible versions, many denominations, many interpretations, etc etc.
