What I cannot understand is why is it only rich people who are into Scientology I can understand most of what is is saying but why are their no poor Scientology, I have looked and I cannot find the man who sweep the road /streets being a Scientology so it seems to me you can only get in if you have money. Scientology requires money and was founded by a science fiction author while Christianity was founded by the son of a carpenter and offers donations and gives to the poor. Scientology believes you become a better person by pooping and peeing while Christianity teaches you to follow an ethics code of morals. One seems like a way to make money while not having to pay taxes and the other seems to teach other to give respect and love to your neighbor.

From a non religious POV, Christianity and other major religions all share a similiar- if not the same concept, as each other with names changed. When more than 1 source say the same thing, logically speaking there must be some MINIMAL basis in fact. I find it rather interesting Noah's ark is spoken about in 4 different religions all stemming from different regions, then they discover a big wooden boat in the middle east ontop of a mountain.

The Catholic Church is certainly about money and power, and a large majority of these "super churches" across north america are essentially tax exempt businesses, with "pastors" riding around in BMW's. But the church I grew up in was rather nice. Any money donated by the people would go towards charities. They would put on soup kitchens for homeless people, and put together packs of toys for kids at christmas.The pastor made his money with a construction business

Christianity ask for donations, and most of those donations go directly into the community. The rest goes to pay the church staff (usually just one guy) and to pay the upkeep of the church.
