Statistics show that women who are raped and go through an abortion, later regret their action and in most cases are strongly depressed and even suicidal. You seriously need to get your facts straight because despite you having the right to opinionate , at least make sense when you do it and please try to not be so close minded. It is also proven that babies do feel pain within their bodies and if you can seriously go on with your life ignoring the facts, then just keep your mouth shut. Thanks
Wow! Had to stop the video at 1:10. It's all about you isn't it sweet cheeks. It is real simple. If you do not want a child "use your fingers". There is a day after pill for those who are raped and have no self confidence in themselves to raise a child the correct moral way.
She should be able to abort if she Feels it is best? Are you serious? What about the child? And in cases where the Mom was raped-that's sad, but the child didn't do anything, and doesn't deserve to suffer for it. And the child is hers too. Guess what? Babies can feel. They are alive. Their Hearts are beating at 10 weeks. Why would they have a beating heart if they weren't alive? What gives you the right to play God, to decide who gets to live and who gets to die?
As I said before there is a very high demand for babies to adopt..but a tremendous shortage.. and couples get fed up with waiting and end up going to go to places like China.
Children who are adopted or placed in care need to learn that they are all unique and special.. The idea you seem to be presenting here that they would have been somehow better off aborted would only ever add to their pain and current lack of self worth.
Yes, and if a woman births a child into a broken home, then how messed up are their lives going to be?
And you are so uneducated on adoption, I just kind of want to give that argument up. People are not 'just going over to places like china' - Do you have any idea how much that would cost?
Ya know what. Get me some solid facts, then I'll continue this with you, because it's impossible to argue with such an ignorant person.
"if a woman births a child into a broken home then how messed up are their lives going to be?"
Well that depends largely on the mother and her support network. There is no one single outcome that is going to apply to all.
"are you so uneducated on adoption"
Not at all. My partner has an adopted brother and sister..they are 18 and 23 ..I have known them since they were in foster care at ages 1 and 5...I also have a 9 year old orphan boy who I have kind of adopted who is hiv positive.
Quite a few thousand I should imagine.. But these people get tired of waiting to adopt a baby in their native country so it is out of sheer desperation that they travel abroad. Personally I think an adoptive child has enough to cope with without also being a different race to his/her adoptive parents.
I've no doubt being in care is horrible.. In fact my partner has an adopted brother and sister ..and her brother is currently locked up,and whilst her sister has had more than her fair share of problems to deal with whilst growing up.. she has come through them and now has a great life..
But this has *nothing* to do with abortion... These are children from a broken home.
And where do you consider the mothers feelings when she has to carry a fetus of rape for nine months, watching her body change, and reliving the pain of the rape?
Alright then, I'll present you with a different scenario. Teenage girl screws up at a party, gets pregnant, and keeping it would ruin her chance at a decent future, she's bullied at school, accused of being a slut, and her life is just all around hell, because of one time?
And don't tell me there's adoption, there are THOUSANDS of unwanted children out there, already living in hell. The truth of the matter is, there's more unwanted children, than adoptive parents out there.
Children go into foster care or are put up for adoption for a load if different reasons.. It is quite wrong to assume they are all somehow "unwanted".
Needless to say many of them will come with baggage and special needs which will be best addressed by experienced parents with children of their own.. For those childless couples out there without any experience a newborn baby is the most appropriate option but,due to abortion ,they are extremely scarce and the demand FAR outweighs the supply.
Then tell me why a friend of mine, at 14 years old, got pregnant, and decided to keep the baby, and give it up for adoption. The baby was born perfectly healthy, yet, 3 years later, still has not been adopted out, and has bounced around a few foster homes.
I'm aware that they go into foster care for different reasons, but the issue I'm focusing on, are the unwanted children. And I never, once said ALL of the children in those situations are unwanted.
Have you, yourself ever been in the foster care system? I have, it's hell. It is not fun at all, I felt no security, and I was constantly bounced from home to home. I felt unloved and unwanted. That is just my experience, yes, but the majority of people I've met, who've been in that system, have felt the exact same way.
Now I'm not saying that every woman who ends up pregnant should get an abortion, I'm saying that they should have the CHOICE.
I don't see how giving a woman a choice is misleading or misguiding.
Either way, an opinion's an opinion. They're neither right nor wrong.
Oh, and I'm not 'suggesting' abortion to anyone, I'm saying that the choice is there. Even if it was illegal, do you really think it would stop? No, women would just be doing it in far more dangerous ways.
That's true. But if being raped and pregnant is such an issue, maybe we need to look at ways to prevent that, to help women protect themselves against these crimes, to let men know that this isn't okay, instead of killing innocent Children for the crimes these men have commited.
Clinic worker Luhra Tivis, who worked for notorious late term abortionist Dr. George Tiller, has this to say of his practice:
"From May to November 1988, I worked for an abortionist. He specializes in third trimester killings. I witnessed evidence of the brutal, cold blooded murder of over 600 viable, healthy babies at seven, eight and nine months gestation. A very, very few of these babies, less than 2%, were handicapped.."
I'm not saying that third trimester pregnancy's should be aborted either. I don't agree with that, because the fetus is just about fully developed, and I don't understand why someone would carry the baby that far along, just to get it aborted.
Hey xoxtrashxox, if you don't want me to discuss and comment about abortion with you anymore, just let me know and I'll stop. I'm not trying to give you a hard time and make you feel bad.
But, I do have a couple of questions about your video:
Do you remember you're first two to three years of life?
What about the people with mental retardation, Alzheimer, or people in comas? Is it okay to kill them and spare their families and them for the difficult lives they would lead?
No, it's not that, I've just had better things to do.
Did you realize that they 'pull the plug' on people in comas all the time? Which ultimately, kills them. And, no, I don't remember the first couple years of my life, very few people do. Do you remember being inside your mothers womb?
Mental retardation and Alzheimer have nothing to do with abortion. If a mother isn't ready, or is unprepared to have a child, she shouldn't be forced to.
Yes, I realize that. But is it right? And, no I don't remember the nine months in the womb or the first years of life. My point was just b/c I don't remember doesn't mean I couldn't feel. My point with mental retardation and Alzheimer was just b/c their brains aren't functioning at normal/full capacity doesn't mean that they arn't human or can't feel. A fetus's brain doesn't work like that of a teenager's but still works the same way by causing limbs to move, heart to beat and nerves to feel
And you're right. No mother should be forced to have a child she is unprepared for, especially if the child would just stand as an reminder of a rape. But, having an abortion doesn't make the trauma of the rape go away. Adoption is a better option. That way there is no need to keep the child around to stand as a reminder, and the baby doesn't have to die because of their dumb ass dads
And what about the nine months of being pregnant, that fetus is still inside of you, changing your body constantly, reminding you every day for nine whole months about the rape. I am fully aware the trauma of the rape doesn't go away with the abortion. I've been there. Adoption, in theory is better, however there are hundreds of thousands of unwanted children already in this world, living in awful conditions, whether that condition be a 3rd world country, or with horrible foster parents, waiting
a featus has no brain dip shit therefore it cannot think therefore it is not considered a baby therefore it is not considered muder to have an abortion otherwise it would have been banned already and anyway even if it was banned women wud still try to have abortions in a far more dangerous way rather than have it done properly by a doctor
I didn't accidentally knock you up, did I ? I mean, we didn't even sleep together....but you did use my shower....and my blankets....and, er...my chair ?

Prolifers consider both the mother AND the baby..to us they are both EQUALLY precious.
As Mother Teresa once observed; "there is no greater poverty than a mother who kills her own baby only in order to live the life of her choosing".

If,as a compromise, abortion was only to be legally allowed in cases of rape would you support such a law?
My guess is that you wouldn't...yet you people are always so quick to use the horrendous scenario of rape as justification for all the killing.
