The lyrics you are refering to are the original lyrics as used by the composer of this music, Beethoven. it's a poem by Friedrich Schiller that Beethoven put to music. The version used for the anthem does officialy have no lyrics.. The text has nothing to do with the stars in the flag or the President of the EU...
