In October 2009 I actually visited Minsk. I took both lines, Maskouskaya and Autozavodskaya. The ten-day ticket was a great value. It was not as crowded as in Kyiv / Kiev, or Moscow. The station Kastrychnitskaya / Kupalauskaya was not too difficult to transfer from. Just pay attention to the map inside the train, and the rest is easy. That was my impression of the Minsk metro.
