this game is for people who are into moto1, moto2 and motogp. this game has all the riders and their current bike sponsorships. tourist trophy is a great simulation game, but it doesn't have the same feel as motogp series as far as fanfare goes. it's like playing madden or nba2k with anonymous people. it may have great graphics and feel, but it's not personal.

I still have Moto GP 2004 which is not much less joy to play. They don't seem to be able to improve that genre that much, because the old versions were already good (enough). I personally enjoy this game a lot, but that might be cause I ride a Honda CBR 600 by myself. Actually you can't simulate riding a motorbike any better than MotoGP. It's as close as you can get.

In my opinion my favorite Moto GP was the 1st Moto GP on the 1st Xbox. I played that game and never had any problems with handling or breaking. I was able to make turns and fly through the tracks. I had not play a Moto GP game since. But, one day decided what the hell ima get off the car games and get back to motorcycles. I got Moto GP 08 hated it. Handling, breaking, sounds of the bikes was horrible kept it but never touched it again. Moto GP 09/10 came and of course I was upset again.

Well, in MotoGP's defence, I just Torrented MotoGP 08 and though it is the first motorbike game I've played since Ducati on the PS1 (Maybe it was PS2?) I actually do like it, if you have the PC version you can use AA4x so the graphics are crisp without jagged edges.

I've only played about an hour so far, but it's quite realistic (I think).

So if you want a bike game and you're looking at the MotoGP series, stick with 08.

This game really is horrible. It's nothing like the older MotoGP games. The physics are absolute shit, which is expected when you change developers for no good reason. This series has been ruined. It has absolutely no simulation quality at all. Why they would fix something that isn't broken is beyond me. It's like the equivalent of the Forza series dropping their physics quality down to that of Grid. They took something that was pretty damn good and smeared shit all over it.

What I like to do in these motor cycle games is purposely knock over the other opponents. And when I get lucky, I might be able to cause a domino collision effect. Lol. The bad things about most modern cycle games, is that your guy appears on the track when he falls off. Thats not realistic.

Its gone down hill since 07. You cant have full helmet cam. When you inside view you cant see your guys arms. The graphics are ps2 and is incredibly unpolished. And everything just seems very cheap on the game and not well polished.
