  • 509/224/146 66-67;8th RRFS 68-69! Why 40 years later and this song brings tears to my eyes? Now I miss all those fellas. I guess the VA doctors are right. LOL

  • My dad was a 05-hawg in Vietnam out of Tai-pai I was a 98 Chuck 88-96 bopped around ended up as last duty at ASAFSK

  • I remember a few of those locations, Vern

    I did both the field and base radio repair for our PRD-1 teams out of Chu Lai in 67-68. Was part of the 408th RRU. Worked with task force Brown and Oregon with the 196th and then Americal when it was formed.

  • 1972-1980: ASA

    1980-1998: Signal Corps

    1998: Retired

  • Yes, indeed, I missed "finding" Butch by 6 weeks! :( but I did get to meet Bill C at indy reunion. 6 months later HE was dead! Eventually found all 13 of us "fellars"
