nice looking trap. If you don't remove the roof you will also catch deer in it. I never saw a hog trap with a roof that did not have a deer in it. Put a gate latch on the door so they can't open it back up.

Now, you have to put up a video that actually shows it in use. Excuse my ignorance, but other than eating them, does anyone trap them to move to a private area? I guess I mean like a private hunt area? Here we have a couple of places that raise wild boar, on a 1/2 section, and sell archery hunts. Amazing how well the little buggers can hide!
@Downedworker Moving pigs to other areas for hunting has been a major cause for their spread and is heavily discouraged. They do major damage and can radically change a habitat. No something to wish on your best friend or worst enemy.
I have heard of people trapping then raising the piglets as domestic meat clear of parasites etc.
