I would say that its more likely to be the Wymonham in Norfolk as Paul and Charlie both went to UEA in Norwich back in the 70s. I also think that the Jessie character is based on some of the locals around here. I have my window open all the time just so I can hear some of the fantastic stuff.

It's actually Wymondham, small place west of Norwich, usually pronounced Wyndham, but Paul gets stuck somewhere between the two in these sketch.
