Drug rehabilitation is an important part of the recovery process for anyone addicted. For someone who has never been in a rehabilitation center, the fear of the unknown can be intimidating.
@SandyDDavenport Yes, very frightening when they have no idea what is going to happen. What does help is when many of the staff have been addicts themselves and so grateful to be truly clean all they want to do is do everything they can to get others through too. No make wrong, no judgements, no recriminations, just do the program and all will be well.
Yes, it is difficult, like I said in the video, you can't make someone do something they utterly refuse to do. If you cannot get their agreement to address the situation they will never do the program. Just like everthing else in life, no co-operation = no progress. Getting someone into rehab is a skill all of its own. It is no job for an amateur.
Getting someone committed to a drug therapy program can be extremely difficult, whether it is getting someone to follow a drug rehabilitation program or getting someone committed against their will.
Yes that's true, instead of forcing them or pointing them down with their mistakes.., we can actually help them up so that they became good person. We respect their own decisions.Anyways thanks for this video.
