I updated my bb curve 9300 to 6.0.0.461 using your tutorial, but its asking me if i want to update, should i or should i not update it. if i shouldnt update it, is there a way of downgrading

@DizzleKid96 are you implying that you have already completed the process, or are you in the middle of it and it has asked you to update it, because if it has, do it... and yes you can downgrade, even though OS 6 is better.. :D

@jr18psp 9300, its better overall, full qwerty keyboard..easier to use. both use OS5 but only sure that the 9300 can be upgraded to OS6.

@xiMotocross you can only use wifi at home..if you want internet outside the house you will need a data plan! but if you want to use internet at home then you need wifi on!

@sky0intercept the same memory you have now. it replaces the old system! it shouldnt affect your memory card!

@rcrdhs i did not notice it slow down, a complete wipeout of all data and fresh installation will give you a clean install.

How is the battery consumption compared to the older OS 5? People seem to be reporting OS6 consumes a lot more battery than OS 5.

@SkratchD Hey man, For me the battery started becoming bad after a month using .424 ..however since using .448 BB software the battery is pretty good for now! Hopefully it will stay that way. Again I can only tell you this in regards to the BB 9300..any other phone and i cannot since I do not have it :D

@shafyl Hey, this is a leak, and there probably will be more leaks soon..sometimes you find bugs but thats the fun of using it..if your worried and don't want to risk it...then by all means do not do it..however even if you do..you can always revert back to OS5..

My phone has not played up at all (BB9300 curve) so I cannot complain at all..the people who release these do test them as much as they can prior to release..

So yeah :D Try it...you might like it..take a risk!

you download the OS from any forum or from the BB website..install it on your PC..and then install it to the phone...same process as this.. :D
