From what I hear 75-80 is reopening. my dad's friend who lives close to there says they repaved it and put in jersey walls. He said they probably gonna run 1/8th mile on friday and saturday and the quarter on sunday.
if theyre reopenin it; im totally syked. i missed this track dearly.
Bill did not sell out. Bill worked weekends, Wednesdays, Fridays for 40 years. 75-80 was Bill Wilcoms track and he put his life into it. Everybody gets old and eventually tired so give me a break .Bill is a great guy and he treated the racers with respect unlike alot of track owners I have met. That being said 75-80 is going to re-open. Probaby 1/8th mile racing beginning in May of 2009 they have already started work. It's true, its happening, 75-80 is coming back.
and the assholes- two chink brothers, and who could forget the faggot in the vega and grey primer baby bottle fed monte...fuck you..i would love to see where you are now.. probably in a 6x8 cell.
75-80 is one of the classic tracks with a great history. Man I hope someone acquires the place and reopens it. Places with that kind of history can not be allowed to die.
I miss 75-80, grew up being able to hear the track at my house. I think I was there that night with one of my cars. Funny seeing motorweek testing there still.
man r.i.p 75-80. haha they cant build on the land somthing went wrong and now the land has to sit for a sertain amount of time befor they can do anything with it maybe we could all send letter to speed and try and get pinks to buy it for there own track??
Man,you dont know how stoked I am to see this video. I used to drool all over that very camaro (silver one) over at 75-80. One of the loudest cars I've ever been around!
Ah, the good ol' days of Friday night OPS.
