Just like a judge in criminal court can't let a murderer go just because he "admits his guilt". You need to pay for the crime or have someone pay for it for you. If I was born with sin, the origional sin, then comanded to be perfect and believe in Jesus then I better hope I've been born into a 5th or 6th generation Christian home. God said in Exodus that he would punish the worship of engraven images with everlasting death to the 3rd and 4th generations after the fathers death. i just have a different viewpoint on religion. i've stated on other sites that man's faith is truly wonderful but it gets tainted by religious dogma, doesn't matter which religion, once they say 'theirs is the only true way to salvation' i think 'they can't all be right but they can all be wrong'
so in summary, be proud of your faith, take comfort in faith, be wary of religion

@moohaali According to texts like Col. 1, Jesus is the Creator of all things, therefore i worship him.There was a point in time when he took on human flesh, but he always eternally existed.Read John 1:1. There are various translations sure but all we have to do is look back to the original Greek/Hebrew/Aramaic texts to see.Yes, he is the Son of God and he will come back to judge the living and the dead.Without Christ, NO ONE will see heaven.Repent and believe in the gospel, trust Jesus ALONE.

@GodLovesUs100 .... After 70 years of the rising of Jesus the rulers at the time united to recollect the bible and they came up with 70 different versions, so after 70 years you get this as a result. If you have read the copies of the bible we have nowa days you'll find that they all stand against each other. For example, this is a 4 minute video .. ''100% proof Jesus is not God! @moohaali by the way my Muslim friend, let us quote the Koran: "Sura 3:3 "He has revealed to thee the Book with truth, verifying that which is before it, and He revealed the Torah and the Gospel aforetime, a guidance for the people." ...............If allah revealed the Torah and Gospel, how is it that you Muslims claim it has been changed?Can man change what God has revealed? And if it is not changed, then you have to accept it, including the claims that Jesus is the Son of God.

@GodLovesUs100 I agree with some aspects because my religion tells me the same, and Jesus (peace be upon him) has been raised and will be back to stand against the false messiah however, it's not him that will judge. He was a prophet that had a message to deliver and so did all the other prophets (peace be upon them) because the message had to be delivered in steps. I'll continue in the next comment....

@moohaali Well the Koran itself says the gospel was revealed by Allah.You muslims are always quick to claims anything revealed by God cannot be changed? Therefore, if the gospel is revealed by Allah, it cannot be changed which means you must accept it.And if you do accept it, you have to reject the Koran for the gospel contradicts and proves wrong the Koran on countless matters like Jesus being God or dying and rising again.

@moohaali Well today's copies are not much of an issue since we have very early copies of manuscripts of the Bible and they are AMAZINGLY preserved for a 2000 year span, it is incredible.Some have even dated 99.5% accuracy which is unheard of in the day with only hand writing scribes and mass persecution upon the church.But the main issue her is Jesus Christ.I have been deceived by Muslims before but the Lord has graciously opened my eyes to see Jesus as savior.Trust in him and repent

@GodLovesUs100 My friend I'm not trying to deceive you, in fact The Lord probably caused us to come across so I can open your eyes.. You yourself just said that it's been dated to 95.5% accuracy, why would you choose to follow something that's not completely accurate when the same God has given you a 100% accurate word? We humans have the choice and we also know what's right and wrong, with the help of God of course! Peace dude :)

@moohaali Well that is not due to bad revelation, it is only due to scribal mistakes throughout the centuries.The word of God was perfectly revealed when it was given.It has not been changed,the message has been preserved for us.In fact, considering the dangerous persecutions of Christians back then and the how secretly one must have carried around scripture added with the fact of it's scarcity, it is AMAZING how preserved it is for us.And my friend, can't this argument be turned around to you?

@GodLovesUs100 You said the bible has been dated to 95% accuracy while now you're telling me that it has not been changed ... so where did that 5% of accuracy go, and based on what do you date back the bible to how accurate it is, because in order to do that you'd have to have a complete version which you can compare the other versions you have to ... and as we all know that complete version doesn't exist otherwise another prophet wouldn't have come with a new message .. the qur'an!

@moohaali actually i said 99.5% and the .05% is mostly due to there being single different words in one manuscript than in another.That is no issue at all, and does not change the message of scripture.You have to keep in mind there are literally thousands upon thousands known NT manuscripts, and considering when and how they were written and passed down, the accuracy they do have is nothing short of a miracle.It's the same with the OT.Dead sea scrolls proved how well they had been kept.
