when i turn the compasses (se,e and stuff) it doesnt say anything, it just gets out of this puzzle screen and he just stands there...

Yeah, the wolves got me too. The makers obviously didn't go through the whole game or have it thoroughly playtested.

Actually, it had me stumped for awhile, but the way I found out is, "What makes a wolf different from a dog?" Look at the collars around the neck.
