I think the word your after is mainstreem, yes admitly it was a mainstreem track and it's Orca's only mainstreem track, everyone loved this one, so that's why it was so big and thats why a lot of dj's played this one including myself.

@Mcorp30 Sorry mate, have to disagree. Most Dutch Hardcore/Techno was all about a ridiculously powerful kick drum and not a lot else back in 1993. Although a lot of UK hardcore was very cheesy, there was a lot of good UK stuff which very nearly crossed over into the mainstream - Seduction/Slipmatt almost did it whilst remaining true to the scene and if it wasn't for the negative press in those days things might have been very different, not that I would have changed those days for anything!

@sparkandflame I appreciate this comment, however you got it wrong yourself, It's not happy hardcore, it's breakbeat hardcore, obviously it was just called hardcore back then though.

Happy hardcore didn't really kck off till about late 94ish wth the birth of 4 beat hardcore, which then led on (about 95) to hixxy's track called toy town, which sealed the deal for the death of breakbeat hardcore.
