Well, you have to remember this is when he was much younger, and that inner conflict of his Human and Vulcan sides are much more prominent at this point in time, I think. In the series, Spock was older and had found a balance within himself, was already set in his ways, and in more control. Taking that into account, I think this fits the bill pretty well.

Cant wait to see the film! I know Zachary is going to be amazing, and this just makes me believe that even more. ^^

Here Spock is more younger and don't have total control of his emotion.

Zachary is great as Spock. He have made an great job with this character.

Mm well, I think Im more a huge sci-fi fan in general, rather then just a trekkie or anything so particular as such. ^^ though I have loved Star Trek since, well, before I can remember. lol I grew up watching Star Trek The Next Generation, and also watching old reruns of the original Star Trek with my father, who got me started with the series. So been a fan all my life, and I guess thats a big reason Im such a fan of the genre itself. =3
