they are "parodying" a swedish band by the name of "the knife".

the knife ( consisting of a brother and sister) are known for making "out there" videos and they usually cover their faces ( with masks, face paints, etc.). one of the masks that they wear is the bird mask.

does that make any sense? i am sort of sleepy so...lol.
