  • B O L D AS PRETTY AS SHE KEPT HER SELF UP TO THE END SHE HAD THE RIGHTTO DO IT THE WAY SHE SEE IT

  • This is horrible!

  • It sounds like she's channeling Tiny Tim.

  • dreadful

  • After hearing Mae sing this, I don't think I'll come up and see her sometime.

  • did she ever work with Tom Jones??/ i would have loved to seen her sing a duet with Tom Jones.. he also is TIMELESS super sexy.

  • I had the album where this song was from. One of the other songs was You Know You Really Turn me On.

  • when i was a teenager in the 70's,i would call the ravenwood apts.where she lived for over 50 years, her name was listed, you couldn't talk with her,but i used to talk with the guy that worked the front desk, and he would give me little tidbits

  • I AM THE GREAT NIECE OF MAE WEST, ALL MY FAMILY LOOK LIKE HER THE WOMEN ARE BEAUTIFUL.

  • It just isn't her key!

  • Well, it's godawful and it's great, all at the same time.

  • @SandyBurnell Perfectly put!!!

  • Mae West = the Pride of Brooklyn!

  • Wow Mae you were a real hot gal thats for sure a one off BRILLIANT thanks for posting.

  • like..WOW..mae west doin the BEATLES?..now imn really trippin....

  • The Isley Brothers, actually..

  • Thanks for posting this one - I'd been looking for it. I heard that the name of this act was "Mae West and Somebody's Chyldren." OMG :)

She also did a cover of "Day Tripper." Oh, and "Light My Fire" by the Doors.

  • LOL Great name for the studio band. Thanks for the information!

  • Terrific..I love Mae as well..just for some reason.

  • I know what you mean. I just love her, I thing it is because she was so funny and was willing to laugh at herself. I wish they woulkd show her movies on TV so another generation could learn about her.

  • i'm only 17 and i love mae west know 2,000 actresses from the silent days to the 1950s what is she like in a good way some woman. i have 6 dvds of mae i got the box set was still singing in the 1960s when she was born in1893.

  • @dorisdayno1 Well, I'm 15 and love Mae West, too. :D

  • @dorisdayno1 - You have GOOD TASTE

  • @dorisdayno1 Thank G-d there are young people like you who still appreciate the old stars. I met Mae when I was 3 years old, in 1933, my uncle worked on her film with Cary Grant 'She Done Him Wrong" and I got to go on the set! I remember her being very tall and very nice.

  • @dorisdayno1 great! such a big fan!so wich movie do you recommend me watching as a first mae film. I have never seen her on a film, but things are screaming to me GO WATCH MAE. First aguilera made an amazing rendition to a guy what takes his time, and i've always loved slavador dali's mae portrait, but i've never been attracted enough to watch a film. So tell me wich movie showcases a complete mae experience. Musically, this song ain't no pertfection, and that comes from a long time beatles fan

  • @EastVillageStud So Do I, She Was So Totally Georgous & Beautiful AT 87 in 1980. And She Would Still Be Geogours Even Today At 117 On 8/17/2010!

  • A great song given the Mae treatment brill,

  • Is this genuine? I really would like to know ?

  • yes it is real. About 1965 or so she released an album. You can Google it. She was about 70 years old at the time. I did cut the songs down in length as they are 4-5 minutes long, but yes, she did it, she sang them, an I love her fo it. There is video on YouTube of her about 80+ yrs old singing Frankie nd Johnnie where lovers and she once again sounds just like herself and for a woamn in 7 inch heels..she does damn good at 80.

  • THANK YOU FOR THAT REPLY

  • wow..truly an innovatoor..70 years old and doing rock and rolll songs..she was truly an original performer...

  • Love Mae West !!! Pleasantly suprised to hear her sing this . . . what a treat!
