what a wonderful opportunity to remember the great old cinemas - thank you, Allen, for this video, from someone who knows the Fox in Atlanta and the Tennessee in Knoxville (and the lovely Broadway in Pitman, JEJennings!)
For anyone who would like to see a beautiful old movie house I suggest they visit the Broadway Theater in Pitman. It's in pretty good shape and is again hosting concerts and theatrical presentations. It also houses a gem of a Kimball theater organ maintained in playing condition by the local theater organ assocation.
I wouldn't say that the loss of all of these theaters is typical of New Jersey generally, but, you haven't actually been to Camden . . . have you? Think Beriut in the '70s and '80s and you're starting to get the picture.
Very entertaining video. Don't let the fact that only a couple people have commented get you down. I present documentation of drive in theaters and very few comment, so, you're not alone! I refer to these creatures as Cyber Borg Geeks. They spend all day watching the creative efforts of human beings but can't be bothered with a simple comment or thank you, they just go on to another video. I'm sure at least 950 or more viewers enjoyed your clip. ood job documenting great landmarks.
Our ghost crew would LOVE to investigate any of these that may still exist contact me hitoyou909 on yaho

what gems but its disappointing new jersey has no pride in keeping their historical landmarks. you did a nice thing sharing history with others.
