I was there at this show , second time for me to see this haunting beautiful singer and her beautiful band ! And yes ,as said previously here, the great bands from the 60's west coast have a reincarnation here :) Go on Jesse , you music is thrilling , and you are always welcome in the southern east part of France :) .... like everywhere i'm sure !  bravo !

As someone who was there in the late Sixties, let me tell you very sincerely and quite literally that If Quicksilver Messenger Service, Arthur Lee's Love and Country Joe and the Fish had been somehow reborn as a small relatively unknown band led by a beautifully mysterious woman, it would be Jesse Sykes and the Sweet Hereafter. Their album Marble Son is absolutely astonishing. My reaction after just the first few cuts was to stare at the speakers and say Oh My God.
