Hi Mike, thanks for the review. Been researching for my first water cooling set for my 600T case. Been looking at the EK brand for some time now but was wondering if this would work. Seems like it will, so I'm going to order a kit myself. Also, I saw your video on the clear panel for the 600T. I emailed mnpctech.com to see if they are still making them.
I'd prefer if you installed the water block carefully as opposed to "slapping it on there " as you quaintly put it in your video !! Never slap anything anywhere !
I see you have Acer 3D monitor can you change smooth motion in the settings of it at all? Just wondering since its 120Hz my TV has a setting like that and makes gaming 5 times better on it but its too big and I want something small
Yate loons are some of the most popular radiator fans out there (perhaps only second to gentle typhoons). I suspect They'll do much better than the Noctuas, although feel free to test yourself.
@jfrydom Thanks for the advice. Do you use them? Or are you just going off what you've read online? Testing is in progress...I'm also looking at Gelid Wing's as well.
Nice kit, if you do get the EK GPU blocks, becareful, with the Nikel plated models, they are known to have issues were the nikel has flaked off and going into the circulation of your loop. Also another suggestion is to not use the EK die, use destilled water with 99.9% pure silver in the res, and get coloured tubes! Nice build never-the-less
@abshassan Whoops, thanks for the advice but too late. I already added the die, it was boring without it. But I already have some stuff I wanna change, I bought some white colored tubing to go with the theme of my build. And I read about the GPU blocks on EK's website, saw they been giving out RMA's for everyone who has one, but I don't think I'll be cooling the cards, the SOC is a non-reference PCB. Thanks again though!
@PCModderMike ohh i see, well if thats the case, you should be good then! as for the white tubes, great choice, im guessing they are primoflex white tubes you went with?
@TheEhxpert Haha cool man, you should get the kit with a 360 rad, it will fit perfectly inside your HAF X. I'll be posting a video of the kit installed and up and running in a couple days.
Looking forward to some before and aftermath....er..."after".....temperatures. I'd like to see how much better it is over the H70 (which I'm sure it is).
@Dechomai Haha that's cool, I'm not to interested in how it compares to an H70 though, there's a lot of air heatsinks out there that perform better than an H70. I would like to know how it does against an H100, really wish it would come out and some reviews would start to be posted.
@PCModderMike Yeah...I was considering grabbing a H100. From what I've read, ETA is now end of July. Just curious how it would do with 4 Gentle Typhoon AP-15's in push/pull. Gonna wait for the reviews first though. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, i want to see how your rig fares.
Oh great...thanks loads, Mike....now you got me wanting one of those... and my wallet is on the floor writhing in agony and begging me to quit looking at this vid.
FrozenCPU is going to add this video under the description page, just like that video on the XSPC Rasa kit. Nice break down, this kit really does have everything you need for first timers who want to water cool their pc. This vid makes me want to get the H360! Maybe i will water cool my RV02?? Nice job Mang!
