Louise Michel was a "communarde" whih means she participated in La Commune, but she was feminists and anarchist, not communist. So please don't put so much red on the picture, black would be better...

Die "Internationale" entstand aus Anlass der Kommune, so das die Verknüpfung m.E. gerechtfertigt ist. Vom marxistischen Standpunkt werden alle Kämpfer der Kommune 1871 geeher, als "Himmelsstürmer von Paris" (Karl Marx)
@aurorakater Don't put the "International" song with Louise Michel, it did'nt even exist by the time of the Commune. You'd better look for "Le Temps des Cerises" or "La Semaine Sanglante", "Cayenne"... The red flag was already in use at that time, but did'nt mean, of course, socialism or communism, who were only pre-theories. The red was only the colour of the poor people of the parisian suburb, which was called "the red belt of Paris".
the split of the first internationale didn't happen yet, during the time of the commune. i wager that red was used in the period also, along or without the black colour
