Saw them do this song in Nov 82 in Fayetteville, NC. Eddie Money opened for them and I had bought a new pair of Dingo cowboy boots to wear to the concert. Still have the ticket stub. Price on stub-----$9.00. Wish I could go back sometimes, and listening to these guys helps..
Lol...I know what you mean, I still have my ticket stub for Lynyrd Skynyrd, 5/14/77, Savannah, GA, the cost was $6.50, damn, I wish I had those days back!!
This was one of my favorite songs right out of high school. I had a great stereo in my 4x4 pick up and my friends and I would listen to this song cranked. Great times and great band. Thank you, 38 Special for all the great songs! Love your music still
@LawnboyBaker Strongly disagree. .38 Special was much more successful than the Georgia Satellites. I believe they were one hit wonders if I'm not mistaken. There certainly was alot of crappy music in the 80's but .38 Special were and always will be one of my favorite bands.
I had this song playing while sitting at Folsom Lake watching the sunset with a beer in one hand and my other arm around my girl, the day prior to our H/S football game with River City. I was wearing my Jersey....1983 what a great year to be 17....I had this album and this was just a great song from it. It brings back memories of a simpler time, I wonder what she is doing now ?
@DarkForceB 1983 was a great year but it didn't seem like "a simpler time" back then. The world was complicated at 17 and it's complicated at 45. Thank God for good music and the ability to reflect.

This, along with "Chain Lightning" are songs that should've been featured on the "Flashback" compilation back in 1987.
