The caller plagiarized Carlos Castanedas book The Fire From Within chapter 6 - Inorganic Beings. Carlos Castaneda was a anthropologist who wrote several best sellers. He had some good ideas like assuming responsibility, but the caller obviously didnt get that far. The book is a fantasy and describes the process a lot better.
