Technically, the AACS encryption algorithms have still not been broken. What happened is that the player key databases have been discovered, enabling software to decrypt title keys on the discs, allowing for the decryption of the AACS encrypted screams.
If you have the key, you don't need to break the lock. In the case of AACS, someone left the master key under the doormat, and someone made a copy :)

Your point doesnt make sense, if they had encrypted something with the private key then the public key will decrypt it, that key would have to be in the hardware so you just have to get it out and you can decrypt. Slysoft's AnyDVD 6.1.7.4 cracks them all allowing you to strip the region code and all copy protection. I use anyDVD6.1.6.5 wih clone DVD V2 and it breaks sony's arcoss pupetlock and universal's waiting for happiness and the RCE protection. Right now I crack and copy any released DVD known to man.
Porn is already on HDDVD, and has chosen HD DVD because of the low cost of producing media. Type in 'porn HD DVD' on here and you will see the proof dude. Plus, bluray is a fad that will be gone by next XMas, maybe earlier.

to hack someone elses computer all you need is to find a person who uses internet explorer. Then there is a VML HACK that can give you full and complete access to their computer using a port and CMD. I've done it once and installed a bunch of programs on a guys desktop and even though he soon went offline the programs were still there.

to hack someone elses computer all you need is to find a person who uses internet explorer. Then there is a VML HACK that can give you full and complete access to their computer using a port and CMD. I've done it once and installed a bunch of programs on a guys desktop and even though he soon went offline the programs were still there.

If someone would've converted it to 4GB, from a movie on a HD-DVD disc, it wouldn't have been worth it! It would be the same quality, or a little better. Yay, someone found a way to make HD-DVD ripping result in a quality very near DVD quality! Yay >.>

Stuff that's "uncrackable" are from techs that do it as a 9-5 job; the only people that care are executives and they know as much about this stuff as an infant knows about the birds and bees.
Hackers are an impassioned group who take their work seriously, like a hobby more than work. When a corporate stiff essentially challenges them, they INVITE feet to go into their collective mouths and asses when hackers show them how "secure" their stuff REALLY is.

You can buy a 500 Blank Cd's for like 20 some dollars, and sell each Music CD for 10 bucks and movie for 15. Charge 15 for unreleased cd's and 20 for movies. hell 10 bucks a cd thats $5,000 even though you only profit $4,980 or so. Hell thousands do it. Its easy money and i doubt it hurts the industry that bad even if its illegal, can't stop it. Amen

There will always be pirated music and movies, who cares? people still goto theaters and they still make millions. If downloading music is illegal then why do they let it happen? You can burn Cd's and make copies "only for yourself" but you can easily lend it to a friend and or send the song files to others.
