  • You may say I'm a dreamer... but I'm NOT THE ONLY ONE!!! Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • If gold became the currency standard it's price would shoot way, way up, because it is a scarce resource. Those with no gold would be fucked. But I guess that doesn't matter if you buy gold now! Go! BUY BUY BUY! You don't want to be left out on your ass when it's the only thing that matters, do you?... Sorry, but the whole changing our currency to gold idea is pretty dumb in my opinion, and sounds like a commercial to spawn more brainwashed, ayn randian capitalists, who can't handle nuance.

  • @seanotube85 You're right. The debt is way too high to be covered by gold alone. WE need to federalize the fed and make a U.S. bank with little to no interest. We'd have to cut spending at the same time and as we started to reduce the debt we could then start looking to back our money with commodities like precious metals. If we cut our overseas spending alone we could use a portion of that savings and spend it into our infrastructure directly bypassing the banks and create jobs.

  • @wthf5 Sounds good to me.

  • this all means something to everyone amierca getting ruined and we need to do something about it and this guy had the balls to do it so everyone who disliked this video surely was drunk and this goes world wide we could just aboout save amierca and i hope ur reading this jerry brown and all those other peopel who fucked up amierca

  • awsome speech good job good job

  • Really like Ron Paul, the only thing I'm not sure on is his foreign policy. He is right on almost every example except WWII, and that's a big one. What's the world like if we dont intervene in the 40's?

  • Google, owners of YouTube, are doing everything in their power to slow down the message of Ron Paul. They are making videos unlisted so you have to have the link to even watch them, but it won't allow me to post the links anywhere here on YouTube.

  • HOW CAN THIS VIDEO ONLY HAVE 15000 VIEWS, WTF YOU TUBE!!

  • PLEASE AMERICA, PLEASE LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE, US CANADIANS DEPEND ON YOU, ON YOUR VOTES, WE ARE AFFECTED TOO!! PLEASE, WE BEG YOU. THIS IS NO JOKE!!

  • Ron Paul= Intellectual Thug!

  • Wow. This is amazing. Finally people are starting to realize what the world

    is actually about.

  • i loved the speach but i hate ron paul. and people should do a background check on him. as a ocuppy and anonymous suppoter i say if you vote ron paul for presedent your makeing a big misktake.

  • @matbbm Thanks for informing me why not to vote Ron Paul. You instead just tell us not to and do a background check. I found nothing. What did you find? Get your head out of your ass.

  • @xNemorax if all his rastist news letters that went out in his name dont warn you. then google (ron paul a3p) you will find that when the group anonymous hacked the US nazi website. they were amazed to find links to ron paul and his people campaining around. and they found funds from ron paul supporters. just look it up. and you cant say its all a fake scam to make ron paul look bad becuse fox news are sceard because its from anonymous.

  • @matbbm Wow. Seriously? This man has a 30 year political history that is amazing. He has fought for your rights and tried to get the masses to hear the truth. Put your head back in the sand if you are too dumb to handle the truth...

  • Rep Ron Paul visit ron-possible*dot*org

  • I like the choice of music, however it's too loud at the ending.

    All in all, great post!!

  • his voice kinda messes it up :P

  • Seriously not that good a speech. PS It's more of a rant.

  • @LeonDawson11 YOU MY FRIEND ARE AN IDIOT! WAKE UP and GROW UP

  • It's good to see alot of different ideologies at OWS.

  • someone needs to check his facts because im sure we dont export only tanks guns and missles!

  • @gfkjfkhgkjhg look up "incredible speech by wall street protester FAQ"

  • That is beyond brilliant.

  • Ahh Time by Hans Zimmer

  • I'm sorry, but if the bailouts didn;t happen we would have hit the depression which hit hte 1920's back in 2008/2009. It was the Lassaiz Faire free market policy which battered America into depression, and it's resurgence in 1980's back in to the western world which has led us to where we are today. One man brought that back through 'Shock Capitalism' Milton Friedman. Now this guy thinks the Feds the enemy. It's not. Supercorporations which manipulate the Fed are. Take the Fed back from them.

  • it would better if you dropped the musical sentiment and let the man be heard, let him speak. The power of words is enough.

  • This guy doesn't really understand what the fuck he's going on about a lot of the time^_^

Inequality is the problem, and its inherent in society, we can only try our best to minimize it

  • The rich stay rich and the poor die.

  • Ron Paul 2012!!

  • Gold is still subject to inflation, you can't just print gold, but that doesn't mean it's value is static. Just like paper money, the value we attribute to gold is completely arbitrary. Money is like language, it only means something because we all agree it has some sort of meaning/value. The only benefit of gold, is it can't be printed out of thin air, but don't confuse this for it having some sort of magical properties. A gold standard is not a quick fix solution to all our financial problems!

  • @soulsanctuarymusic1 that's a good point.

  • Hans Zimmer is amazing.

  • What is this guy's name? Who is he?

  • @lauriekruczek

    watch?v=5W3om0xbEaY

  • I bet hes gonna go home to his 3 story house with a pool

  • Even if you dont back the dollar with gold you can simply use a "TCI" or a non imported total commodity index (Gold, silver, ect). And you can back the dollar with that and it will be a drastic improvement, combine that with getting the money out of politics and you will give Americans true freedom!

  • This is deep, I feel like I can get in trouble for watching this.

  • @whitegirlsteez On the eve of NDAA, you don't know how right you are. Take solace in the fact that you aren't alone.

  • As an Australian I can attest to his statement that if you lose America you will lose the world and there will be no place to run. Our politicans work for the same cartels, and we suffer the same corrupt central banking system. Australians are in a massive slumber. Do not lose America, the dominos will fall. I am doing my best to help wake people up, I am sorry I can not help more. I love this protestor, he really knows his stuff.

  • He must have read Ron Paul's book, End the Fed.

  • Helly yeahhh!

  • 0:05 our whole continent wide 1:34 of sound money 1:54 quantitative easing 2:24 a middle class

  • At the end of the video - it should read "too late" - not "to late". Great video...shame it ends with improper grammar.

  • I used to argue with idiots like this on youtube, then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • gary johnson for president

  • i'm making subtitles for this video. Please, i'm not perfect in english and need to know what he says at 0:05 '' our whole country _____ ? '' at 1:34 '' we got rid ___? '' at 1:54- 1:55 ? 2:24 '' you're gonna drain ?''

    Thanks you ! It's a very interesting video !

  • Ron Paul 2012! Can't be worse than Obama.

  • Ho much did this kid get paid for this schlocky Ron Paul infommercial?

  • hardly the best speech (...) ever.. albeit not a bad one. (on the side I think Ron Paul is also a libertarian utopist, maybe a little smarter but still..)

  • To all you who don't understand anarchism, (sorry to get off topic) most REAL anarchist want peace not chaos. but god knows peace without government wont happen.

  • You can rant all you want you will change nothing.

  • @nefar73 with that attitude you will never change a frigging thing, that's for sure.

  • @44percentburnt Yep, because 'I' never will. This system is broken. You're spoon fed who you're going to vote for, there is no real 'choice'. The criminals are running the prison and just voting in another criminal is not going to change anything. Protests will never do anything but get you media attention on the biggest morons out of the crowd.

  • @nefar73 so, just ignore everything and try not to get noticed? Like the next sheep? Not that I particulary like this clip but your point of view seems to advocate a very passive attitude. I'm from europa so we can vote a little more flavors than in America [which seems indeed very limited], but here we had fascism where 80% of the people just followed some ludricous ideas because they didn't bother to think/act about it too much.. If you ask me, that's the real problem with humanity...

  • 700B for bailout.. holy cow

  • I would care about this guy's rant more if conservative tea party libertarians weren't the very breed of assholes who were giving more unregulated free market control to the very monopolies that are fucking us over today...

"Liberty liberty liberty" they all shout. They act as if such a thing was able to bring us closer to a meritocracy.

Instead, libertarianism just brings us closer to social darwinism.

  • @samisyosam

The constitution will still exist, along with the protections therein. Monopolies exist because the government allows them to exist and enables them to exist. When the government is big and powerful, corporations only have to pay off a few dozen people to sway policies in their favor and maintain their positions. If you diffuse power across states and between branches, corporations cannot afford to buy all of the politicians and are forced to compete on a fair playing field.

  • @qwertpoi If you think that corporations don't have that kind of money and influence already... you must be delusional.

  • This kid should so be an international hero.

  • What's this kid's name?

  • Ahh, I really liked that, but was TOTALLY disappointed that they misspelled "too" at the end :( :(

  • good guy..sad days coming in america.god bless us all

  • Napoleon Potential

  • Song!!!

  • Fractional reserve banking isn't the problem. Usury is the problem, always has been.

  • @cchessmaster if usury is the only problem, why do banks need bailouts? Usury begins with a bubble of fractional reserve banking.

  • Motorcycle accident at 1:39

  • I don't see the problem with having our production outsourced. If its cheaper to have other countries do our work then we have more labor hours available for our own production here.

  • I'm imagining all the riots that will take place if Ron Paul isn't elected, and all the angry people involved who will never have heard of the Federal Reserve. Spread the message. Your life might depend on it. I wish I could afford to joke about this.

  • @Owlbearwolf2 Ron Paul isn't the answer. He's a politician, and a fucking racist. I suggest you look deeper than electing someone else to control your life.

  • whats the music?

  • @BattlefieldMissions

    the song from inception soundtrack

  • Actually I retract - I didnt watch the vid the first time

    The Kids good

I thought he was just another Retard protesting Capitalism while sucking Obamis dick

  • What's the point of going back to a gold standard when someone is hoarding it??

  • @topgunexcel who cares,,, at least we will know what our money is worth!!

  • @laundrygone And every U.S citizen is worth $1.2 million as collateral, and owns $46000 of the national debt that they didn't accrue. Looks good on paper but the figures don't match if the the fiat currency is worthless. Ahh I get it!! If the gold standard is used then the worth of the population per head wont fall, It's a standard re-finance of property owned. Who has all the gold anyway??

  • Comment removed

  • @laundrygone You should fucking care. Gold hoarding creates a bubble. You don't want your currency to be at the whims of a single commodity.

  • @laundrygone Have you ever thought that if gold becomes the new currency that it will then be worthless? What is gold worth if money doesn't exist? What is gold worth to you personally? Why is it worth anything at all these days? The new currency should be labor and trade goods. Period.

  • @seventwo

With gold you can't just print more. If you want more coins you either have to put in the effort to mine more or cut it with other metals to increase the supply. Ultimately the capital in this country would increase the value of it's mint.

  • @topgunexcel very interesting.... /watch?v=swkq2E8mswI

  • @topgunexcel Hoarding is an ugly word for saving. Saving is good for the economy. When you save, that makes capital available for others to use. Besides, people save so that they'll spend it in the future. We have been taught that spending drives the economy, but that is false. It is savings and production that drives the economy. Without savings, there would be no capital available to invest. Production is what drives a healthy economy and drives the standard of living.

  • @alexamasan Interesting theory which makes me think - If the price of gold is increasing then there is less in the "economy", If the gold is being "saved" by one organization (bank, corporation, person etc) then this is monopolizing, so again the question - who is "saving" it? And if we could have "fractional saving" on our bank account (x9 on deposits) all the "economic problems" would be solved :-P

  • @topgunexcel it wont be hoarded. if you want to reap a benefit from it you have to invest it. go read david hume on specie flow. its a self calibrating mechanism.

  • @mario1337 From what I found it's the IMF that has the majority of the gold, it is allowed to monopolize this under the pretext of helping developing nations.

  • @topgunexcel It's a little bit more complicated then that. The issue is freedom, repealing legal tender laws will unlock the creative ability of the people. Legalized competition with the federal reserve currency in theory should provide the bridge the people need to transition back to a commodity backed currency. This is the crucial point, notice, the value of gold has not gone up or down. An oz. today was worth an oz a hundred years ago...a thousand years ago. The reserve notes...not so much.

  • @c0d0r12 Competition is one of the causes of the problem so a whole new social structure needs to be created, no more theories needed as the "Lets try it this way" approach has proven a failure. As a species we are running out of time and choices, when we have no choices is when any change that has to be implemented for survival will impact on the smallest things we take for granted - personal time, family, freedom. So competition to fix it? 50 years ago I'd say yes

  • @c0d0r12 Oz Gold = Oz Gold, yes and $100 is still equal to $100, it's their value in relation to other commodities that matters! Gold doesn't have some magical static value, it's worth is still subject to change in relation to other good and services.

  • @topgunexcel agreed your still in debt lol

  • @topgunexcel This is true, the elite has hoarded gold in fear of them losing the dollar. Norway sold all our gold reserves to "anonymous investors" .... Our central bank leader at the time was Svein Gjedrem whos according to some sources part of the bilderberg group.

  • as much as i agree with this, i have to point out that they used the wrong "to"

in "...before it's to late", it should be "too"......

    just sayin

  • no matter where you are or what you do. every day you work, you work for less than the day before, and everything you buy today, costs you more tomorrow.

  • END THE JEWISH OWNED FED.... END ZIONIST DOMINATION OF THE WESTERN GOVERNMENTS.... PROSECUTE THE ZIONIST JEWS WHO DID 9-11-01

  • @madmac2721 >>>End the FED?

So coining money would be back in the hands of the People (through congress) instead of the Private Bankers (the fed)

    .

    >>>a woman she can't end a pregnancy

Not what Paul said. He has stated if the States (like CA, OR, WA, etc) want to keep abortion legal, then it will remain legal. Paul is not trying to make abortion illegal... he's simply saying the Congress has no right to restrict it, just as they have no right to restrict Speech, Religion, press, internet

    .

  • @electrictroy2010 You're misinformed, just like most of the Ron Paul fan club.

  • @madmac2721 Explain

  • @madmac2721 Explain...

  • WELL FUCKING SAID KID!! FUCKING BRILLIANT!! All you can say to that is... exactly. RON PAUL 2012!!

  • The kid made a mistake when he said "the government is printing money". No. The Private Central Bank is the one printing money. They call it Qualitative Easing which is just double speak for making paper dollars out of thin air

    .

    They've done this 3 times now - QE1, QE2, and QE3

    .

  • If you think this is a great speech,

a rambling by some farkin doped up dickhead - you may need to re-evaluate your life

  • @TheJayEffkay ofc its not a speech ,but tell me what is a speech? This is more like rant but its sure as hell better than any "SPEECH" President Obama has gave.. or bush or alot more people who give BIG nonsense speeches that don't have as much power as this kids words..

  • @TheJayEffkay HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS KID IS A DICKHEAD? HOW DO YOU KNOW HE'S DOPED UP? IT'S OBVIOUS THAT YOU ARE JUDGMENTAL AND A HATER.

  • @madmac2721 Ron Paul wants to faze us out of social security so anyone who depends on it right now it wouldn't affect them.. He wants the government to stay out of our lives.. including abortions which isn't his main issue.. he says he wants states to determine the abortion issue.. And the FED is a private corporation who controls the value of our money.. that's why the world is in this crisis .. ending the fed would bring true capitalism, free markets , and no more bailouts..vote Ron Paul 2012

  • @pecosojones89 >>>"Ron Paul wants to faze us out of social security"

That's not true. Ron Paul's budget strengthens SS and Medicare because "we made a promise and we should keep it". What we does allow is for people age 25 or younger (as of 2013) to opt-out of the program, but all the rest of us will still have to pay the Tax and receive the benefits when we retire

    .

  • @electrictroy2010 You just described what you think Ron Paul wants to do and it sounds a hell of a lot like "fazing out" to me. -electrictroy2010 " what we does allow is for people age 25 or younger (as of 2013) to opt-out of the program, but all the rest of us will still have to pay the Tax and receive the benefits when we retire"

  • @paul0luap1 Not really. "Phasing-out" sounds like he wants to end SS/medicare in just a few years (like bush tried to do). But his actual proposal will cover everyone from age 25 until they die, so both programs will continue another ~80 years

    .

Basically I'm trying to avoid the fear some elderly folks have (like my parents) that they will be abandoned with no SSI checks coming in. That is NOT what Congressman Paul is proposing

    .

  • God Bless this kid.. inspirational.. his right on.. hits the nail on the head..

  • wow!!!

  • i love this man

  • THIS GUY KNOWS WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT!!! HECK YA
