Thanks....There was some speculation about the inspiration for the song, John clarified it in an interview and you are right, I've been a beatles fan for years and I still marvel at their creativity how much they have influenced evrything after them.

he drew a picture and john asked what it was and he son said " lucy in the sky with diamonds" and then john made the song
