  • This video is a favorite on Albania

  • can you make a video on how to disassemble and reassemble. i cant seem to figure out why my bolt doesn't lock in place to fire. this gun was giving to me from my great uncle and i would love to shoot it in his memory, thank you kindly

  • To Geekwad-Most ranges require you to wear ear and eye protection.

  • I just bought one of these today. Do you know where I can get parts? Mine is missing the trigger guard and the peice on the back of the bolt.

  • that i pretty nifty man. i love old stuff

  • lol do you have those earmuffs for the other peoples guns? cus 22s arent so loud that youd need em..

  • I have one of these in excellent condition. Came from my grandfather. Love this gun. Whats it worth? Never saw the box before. that is awsome. Watch To Hell and Back. The Audie Murfy Story. In the opening scene, he is a boy and shoots a rabbit with it. It has to be the same gun. Curly trigger gaurd and you see him pull the bolt back to cock it.

  • I bear hunt on Kodiak Island every year with a rifle just like this one. Its awesome! I use only shorts to give the bears a fair shake... Nice Video. Thanks!

  • i have one of these , but every time i shoot it the empty shell gets stuck and the extractor wont pull it out .. how should i fix this ??

  • ive got one to

  • I have a mod. 1904. My Dad paid $12 for it around 1937, from a neighboring farmer he worked for. The stock is cracked under the barrel but it still shoots fine. Thanks for posting your video.

  • Thank you for not letting that thing sit in a vault or behind glass. Just proves what real craftsmanship this country used to have. Nice rifle. I can only dream of getting my hands on one of these.

  • @woodlandcammo27 lol my great-grandfather recieved his on his 7th birthday, (he was born in 1897). He had it for the whole of his childhood. He gave it over to my grandfather when he was a boy. My grandfather allowed my dad to shoot it on his aunt's farm in north georgia. I have shot this rifle many a time, and it was my first gun experience at age 5. I am set to inherit this rifle for my childrens use, me bing first born, once they are born. As far as we know, around 40 bricks have been shot.

  • if i have one thats not damaged how much would it be?

  • what type of hammer would you call this, i mean the bit he pulls back to cock it? thnks

  • look like a 1896 model 1904

  • Ran across this video while trying to do research on mine. I have on of these that my father gave me when I was 13 years old, his grandfather gave it to him. I've seen many photos of these rifles and have yet to see any that are even close to the condition of mine. I swear it looks like it just came out of the box. Neat little rifles and mine is very, very accurate. Loved shooting it when I was a kid.

  • the thing i love about 22's is that they are so cheap and cheap to maimtain and fire. iv just got a small little .22 single shot. its very small and very fun:P iv just bough these new rounds and i highly recoment them to anyone. they are CCI stinger rounds. jacketed hollow points. they are very powerful but a bit expencive. $6 canadian

  • why does is sound like its got a suppressor on it coz when i shoot my dads .22 its like BOOOOOOOOOOOM ????

  • Awesome lil gun!

  • that looks like something my grandma has, only the shells don't detach from the bold,i thought it was made that way but perhaps is not working correctly.

  • hmm, does any one know a single shot .22 that ejects spent shells?

  • @angryslug1 ive shot one before it shot rimfire

  • can it shoot LR and/or short ?

  • @iamadness69 it shoots both

  • my grand-father has the same rifle but a 1906 one...

the shell doesnt pops out when u reload?

  • i have a trapper special that looks just like this gun,all it says on the barrel is trapper special made in the u.s.a.

  • Hi pretty new to u tube I recently purchased a 1904 boys rifle in very good condition but I am not real familiar with this gun as this is the first one I have owned I had a question for you, the bolt on these rifles are they meant to slide out when you pull the bolt back & depress the trigger? as this one does not come out any advise would be much appreciated as it will save me taking it to the gunsmith thanks.regards kevin from oz (Australia)

  • where is the magazine style winchester? you know the one that they used in WW1, I thought that was the m 1904. Ill just look it up.

  • i need to know where to buy one and how much it costs because i just lost mine in a house fire. greatly appreciated.

  • Great classic 22 rifle! looks like it's fairly good condition too, might be worth a lot to a collector if you're willing to part it.

  • their seems to be a very heavy trigger on it ar thay all like that

  • i want one. ITS SOO COOL AND I DONT KNOW WHY.

i bet i could buy that for £50. and illigally keep it under my bed. ;)

  • look at that toy!

  • i have one with a very nice stock. might make a vid, might not

  • i got one of those and i hate it

i got good shooting skills but dont know why with .22 firearms i suck at shooting

  • Nice! I've read about that rifle but I have never actualy got to see one, until now, So do you actualy owne this rifle? It's funny that back then a .22cal rifle was ususally considered a "Boys gun" when now a "boys gun" would be a BB/pellet gun or even an airsoft gun. Today, .22 rifles are not boy guns

  • I just bought this gun at a gun show for $250, 4/25/09

Condition is great considering the age and looking forward to shooting it

  • $250 Man You pretty much stole that gun! I wonder what its true value is?

  • however some pellet guns arn't considered "boys guns" either nowdays(pcp and some high powered spring guns)

  • I 100% agree! I have a modified Crossman 2240, .22cal, Co2, pellet pistol. And I would never let anyone under the age of 18 shoot it. This gun shoots 14.4 grain hollow-point pellets at apx. 700fps.

  • yeah i know! i own a 22 benjamin discovery

i chrony'd it at an average of 820 fps with 14.7 gn crosman premier hp

but with h&n barracuda's(also sold as beeman kodiak)

    i get 26 ft/lbs and shoots clean through a 254 page book

  • must have been an actual single shot rifle.lol

  • I want whatever is in the background, pow pow!

  • i own one of those but its much louder then your for some odd reason

  • different ammo, he might have subsonic.

  • it looks like the 1902 is there any difference between them as i am looking at getting a 1902 in the box unfired for $50

  • I have one, too!

  • iv got a 1904 stevens and son 22 very good shape can only shoot shorts

  • just inhierited a model 04. very interesting

  • I've seen a few of those around but in real bad shape...how far you shoot with it 600 yards? lol :)

  • about 1,800 feet.... :-))

  • Nice gun
