  • I like that the title is great pyrenees takes on ragdoll, not ragdoll takes on great pyrenees lol :)

  • @potatochipXL I can comment whatever I want, it's a public video. if u don't agree with my comment, fine. you wrote how you feel so just let it go. you don't need to act all angry over a difference of opinion. just move on already.

  • got to hand it to the cat tho,he / she has balls :D

  • I have pyrs and your an idiot.

  • My Pyrenees revoullie sleeps and does every thing with my cats protects them also but likes to herd small kids

  • One thing I admire so much about my pyrenees is that even though she is a puppy she is so unbelievably gentle with all smallest of creatures she has ever been in contact with. She also loves cats but none have taken a liking to her yet! Cute video!

  • The cat could easily run and hide under the couch. Your dog is goofy! lol

  • We love our great pyrenees dogs too! The cat is obviously choosing to play with him and is in no danger. Pyrs have the greatest personalities and are really just gentle giants.

  • you shouldn't be laughing and encouraging the dog. one day, the dog could snap and accidentally kill the cat. very disappointing that people think this is funny and are so careless. :(

  • @monitchka You really really don't know the breed then. They are beyond gentle and avoid harming anything at all costs. It's been a couple years since posting this video and they are still the best of friends. A great pyrenees will not "snap", it just doesn't happen. (unless they are brought up in a bad environment) A great pyrenees has the power to kill a lot of things but they don't.

  • @monitchka its true I have a Pyrenees and they are gentle giants. Never would harm a single thing.

  • @petfightclub Sorry, Great Pyrs are very gentle and docile, but they are guardians. They can and will 'snap' if pushed too far, but with household pets like the cat (beautiful ragdoll btw!), it knows to protect that animal and simply play and not attack. But, I must clarify that the Pyrenees are actually a very powerful breed that can 'snap' if pushed. I have 11 of these huge things at my farm, and boy are they the best kinds of dogs, but I just had to clarify (know from experience).

  • @monitchka If you watch the dog, he keeps trying to pick the cat up, like she would a puppy (the nape of the neck). The dog isn't growling, her ears aren't back: there's no aggressive behavior at all. It's pretty clear she's just having fun with the cat.

  • @monitchka She is clearly just playing, shes using her mouth like a momma cat would.

  • @monitchka you are ignorant. if the dog wanted to kill the cat, it would have. these dogs are gentle and harmless.

  • @potatochipXL no an ignorant person is someone who bashes a stranger over the internet just for having a different opinion. grow up. that is not true. every dog is an individual, just like human beings. you can't speak for a whole breed. there is always a chance when you have a dog and cat together that even the most gentle dog might take it too far. there are tragic stories of this happening w/ this breed. maybe in this case, it was safe but they should not laugh and encourage this behavior.

  • @monitchka you're an oversensitive prick who thinks they're doing a favor for animal rights over a harmless play fight. there is no aggression in their behavior and if you and ANY SENSE AT ALL IN YOUR FUCKING HEAD you would see that.

  • @potatochipXL chill out!! what is your problem? nobody is allowed to have a different opinion than you? why does it matter what I think? just chill out and stop shouting at random people over the internet. I understand that there is no aggression in this case..all I was saying is that I don't think people should encourage this type of behavior between cats and dogs. I wouldn't laugh because I know of gentle dogs turning on cats. I can't control what people do, so it shouldn't bother you.

  • @monitchka then don't bitch about it on people's videos and give everyone grief over you having a stick up your ass.

  • now i want my ragamuffin to meet my parents' pyrenees! i think the kitty wins. :)

  • We are getting a Pyrenean in November and have 2 cats!! i hope they can have fun together like yours seem to.great video made me laugh so much!!

  • I hate cats!!! Pyrenees are simply beautiful.

  • Aww, this is precious! My Great Pyrenees and ragdoll do not get along at all. My cat's scared of him even though he's the gentlest creature on the planet.

  • @harley - no, ragdolls are very careful and don't use their claws when playing with us or her. Does she look like she's being abused? I don't think so.

  • My brother's Great Pyr has "mothered" every litter of kittens born on their ranch...and they still nap on him, even though now grown.

  • isn't the car hurting the dog with its claws?! wtf?! this isn't funny. it more cruel than funny

  • If it wasn't for the fact that I have a pyr who does this with my neighbors cat I probably would've though you're dog was hurting the cat xD But I found how gentle a pyr was when he picked up the previously mentioned cat the way a lion does it's cub and the cat was complete fine about it.

  • That cat is AWESOME!!

From somone who has 2 pyrs and a cat that rules them all.

  • reerrrr! reeer!!! goes kitty...Hilarious!

  • Pyrs are so cute when they play...they have such a distinctive body language. And I love how the cat is making that pissy whine, it's like he's saying, "No fair your so much bigger than me!" :-)

  • I love this! Our neighbor had one of these wonderful dogs named Summer, and I had a smarty-pants beagle-chihuahua mix. They would play together, and when my dog copped an attitude and needed to be calmed down, Summer would engulf her whole head in her mouth and just hold it there for a few seconds, then they would go back playing again. They loved one another.

  • well you can sure tell who wears the pants in that relationship! lol

it's especially funny because i have a video almost identical to this one (though your camera took a way better picture lol). you should check it out!

  • i had 1:) there so gentle and fluffy as hell i he let me sleep on him like a pillow lol

  • I like how the kitty doesn't back down from a challenge! Even it is only going after a big fluffy teddy bear of a dog. <3

  • what a beautiful beautiful cat =o

  • this is hilarious! Thanks for sharing.

  • They were obviously playing, ive got 2 ragdolls myself and they make a very different sound when they are really fighting. If the cat actually thought it was in danger it would be growling and spitting with its ears flattened down.

    Nice video :-)

  • there so cute

just watch so the cat dosnt scratch the eyes out the dog

  • Maybe you're an idot for not doing your research and knowing that Great Pyrenees are extremly gentle and that she uses her mouth very gently when she plays. They have been playing like this for over 2 years and that cat always comes back for more. Thanks again for your ignorance.

  • @petfightclub

thats why i love great pyrenees XDDD
