Cant cut it out! it'll grow right back. hehehee

Creepy monkey... WOULD YOU STOP FOLLOWING ME?!

  • You said you'd always be there for me!.......But you're not.....

  • I think they gave us 20 silent seconds at the end to let the epicness jump around in our souls.

  • 21 people were born in 2000

  • It makes me want to go to Africa so bad! If I ever go to Africa, I'm playing and dancing to this wherever I go :) <3! The music just makes me feel so alive esp. @ 3.00 :)!

  • 21 Hyenas have listened to this!!!

  • 21 dislikes?! Seriously, people get a grip.

  • hans zimmer is the beethoven of our time!!

  • I used to think Under the Stars, This Land, and King of Pride Rock were all the same song when I had the casset tape of all the music. All three pieces of music sound so similar.

  • Comment removed

  • @tayl2991 Well they base on the same theme, like movie scores in general.

  • @The7thsonof7thson Oh Okay, I get it now. I love The Lion King music. My fave Disney film ever. I own it on Blu-Ray.

  • geez who doesnt wanna just watch lionking after listening to this?!

i wanna curl up to my lion teddy and watch the movie :)

  • omg!! I cry to this song :o

  • 3 words: goosebumps and tears

  • One of the best soundtracks in any movie. Nobody is too old for a disney movie. Especially the Lion King. Honestly, how the hell are 20 people gonna dislike this?

  • without Hans Zimmer this wouldn't be so much of a good dramatic movie

  • I've always wanted to look at the stars like they did. In fact, every time I look at the stars, I think of this scene. Talk about leaving a big impression.

  • @KumaOso16 your name means bear bear!

  • only one word for describe this: epic!

  • Wow. My exposure to Hans Zimmer's music goes back alot longer than I thought.

  • Goosebumps, is all i can say.

  • 1. Plug in your classic headphones

    2. skip to 2:57

    3. Turn it up

    4. Turn off the monitor

  • the best disney movie, I miss my childhood moments.....

  • @HolyAllianceCora my favourite movie of all time :D

  • @thundereustass me too :) I think this song is so touching

  • God...truly epic. I remember seeing this in theaters, 5 yrs old, and buying all the toys. These were the days, days we'll never have again. I'm truly blessed to be a 90s child.

  • Anyone else feels pure and good when watching the old Disney classics?

  • @p123970 I feel free

  • @1:55 Best bit for me! :')

    My childhood.... :')

  • It's official: if I ever have kids, I am raising them on the Disney classics. They're not getting exposed to "new Disney" until they damn sure know how things used to be!

  • I miss the hidden meaning that disney movies portray that not only entertain and engulf childrens minds, but that continuously began to change in meaning after each time I watch them. It makes me realize how much I truly am maturing, and it scares me because i want to hold on to my childhood with Disney right along side me, for as long as I can...

  • IMO lion king has the best soundtrack ever in movie history

  • 20 people will be exiled.

  • this is beautiful. my kids are being raised with disney classics and none of this hannah montana shit

  • I was born on the day lion king was released... I am the same age and always will be, I want to be part of the broadway show when im older. Long live lion king.

  • Love from the 2:27 !!!!!!!!

  • I want to cry...

  • IMAO the "real" Disney died when they started to use computer animation for their films. Real cartoon is the best!

  • @tropicthunder332

I disagree with you. With high quality films such as Finding Nemo, Up, WALL-E, and Toy Story, I still think Disney has manage to still churn out classics even though they've deviated so far from the classic broadway-styled movies I grew up with and absolutely love.

  • @ub3rsc00ber

You do know Finding Nemo, Up, Wall-E are not Disney's but Pixar's? as is subsequent Toy Story films I think.

  • @NamelessATM They're still under the Disney umbrella but I understand what you're saying. :) They're not made solely by Disney etc...

  • @ub3rsc00ber

Wow, now that was a fast response, haha!

Anyway, I personally never got all the fuss about Pixar. are Finding Nemo and Up good movies? yes, sure (sorry, got bored by Wall-E). but I find Pixar's movies mainly a 3d-comedy movies, that can't be compared to classics like The Lion King, Aladdin, The Beauty and the Beast etc. the only 3d movies I honestly LOVE and consider amazing are Shrek and Toy Story :P

I just think 2d animations convey a more innocent feeling and emotion :o

  • @NamelessATM Hahah! I'm up studying, constantly checking my emails and listening to Disney music hence the fast response.

I personally think they're different genres. I don't find any Pixar movie to be -mainly- comedy. Flares of adventure, drama, comedy and true heartfelt moments that interconnect make them special. I agree that these movies have a much more classic feel which I would say is because of the music/songs that accompany the movie.

  • However, I feel like Pixar/Disney has done a phenomenal job on crafting a script that resonates with children and adults alike.

I would really love a great, classic-feel Disney movie like they had in the 90's again. I'd love nothing more than for a movie to send me straight back to my childhood.

  • Im in love with the 1:54 part

  • You see? he lives in you

  • 3:00 EPIC ♥♥♥

  • 3:23 Man, I love that part (I'll bet that would be awesome to play at a wedding when the newlyweds and the bridesmaids and groomsmen exit the stage). There's so many indidvidual moments in this track that stand out to me. 1:54 and 2:27 are so, so good. Thank you, Hans Zimmer, for a film score for the ages that very few ever equal.

  • cue 'can you feel the love tonight'

  • @RemyxedMagic Same here dude!

I haven't seem this movie in what seems like forever, but I plan on rewatching soon!

  • I was born in 1994, the year of The Lion King. I am proud.

  • @RemyxedMagic lucky! I was born 1996!

Lion King forever! So much better than the films the world has now!

  • Hans Zimmer. That's the magic

  • 3:01 yea

  • Im in love with the 1:54 part

  • When I was younger, I didn't understand the music. Now I'm older I can understand the emotions and the beauty.

Lion King is for all ages

  • wow.....simply wow.

  • ....no words..

  • 20 are hyenas who got to smell Pumba's special powers.

  • I'm TOTALLY in love with 2:22 - 2:26 part... it's something wonderful <3

  • As a child born in 1999, I have to say: I hate every single one of you. You lucky bastards. -_-

  • my kids will know these movies that my friends is a promise :')

  • The hell with the new Disney tv shows and movies, LONG LIVE THE LION KING

  • i cried at 3:05 when it was the end of the movie

  • @t1f1kyxz That wasn't the end of the movie! That's the part when you see simba's legs while running through the desert =P - HM7

  • Love how this soundtrack brings back the people who grew up with thee Disney!! I look at Disney Channel now and cry..

  • my childhood movie :D

  • Like if this movie made u cry when mufasa died:(

  • my then husband hated cartoon films as he put it lol after lion king well he was hooked oh happier days wantb them bak

i took my little brother to the 3D remake of the lion king, it made his day :> won't let him grow up with meaningless animations ..

  • wow an actual Disney movie from when i was young =) miss these days

  • 1:54 love that little part with the vocals

  • this movie is like a timemachine. its so neat to go back to that innocent mental state., ignorant of the whole nasty world and people.

  • i am going to run and climb and jump wildly ina jungle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the i will reverently come out to the stars and see the beauty in night...

then i will return hhome with anewed strength to help my family

  • thumbs up if your gonna see Lion King in cinemas!

  • @1231916 I just did, brought back so many memories :')

  • I fall asleep to this track every night <3 The music is gorgeous. Words cannot express the sound coming from this track...

  • Can you believe Michelle Bachman think this movie is gay propaganda??

    Seriously, because of Elton John.

    /Facepalm

  • @BuhRohNie If anything this movie is Hamlet but with lions. And that is fucking epic.

  • i went to see this in 3D, and actually, much to my surprise, it wasn't all too different from the original. the grass now actually seemed to fade into the distance, it seemed like you could actually reach your hand into the sky when the sun shone, and it looked like it was actually raining when the rain hit.

The 3D effect did some real justice to some scenes. i'd say that seeing it in 3D is a wonderful idea. i loved reliving every childhood moment in that theater.

    definitely worth seeing again.

  • people jesus christ stop whining bout hanna montana there is no disney related video or comment thats not about this broad. Before I did never heard or seen bout this girl, its only these videos where its all the whining.

  • Thank God I was born early enough that I grew up with movies like this..And not the load of crap like Hannah Montana that children now are growing up with! Ah, when Disney actually gave meaning to things...when Disney was Disney. Seeing it in 3D was amazing. I love this movie too much for words.

  • @moonblaze1000 actually, shows like Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place still have meanings in every episode. I've watched those shows growing up as well, and it's just that the meaning is not as significant. Whereas the movies focused more on life challenges and beautiful storytelling, the shows focus on life lessons and right-from-wrong.

However, I do understand your annoyance. Disney directors seem to have lost their magic touch, nowadays...nothing truly inspires me anymore.

  • @NTRememberTheName Also - while the movies had more focus on deeper meanings and the experiences and emotions of the characters, the shows focus more on comedy, and entertainment. Thus, it seems like the shows are meaningless, since the characters never go through any life-changing or truly challenging experiences, apart from daily life lessons. To say that the shows are "crap" may be a bit on the judged side...but it's not far from the truth, considering most of the show is rather meaningless.

  • @moonblaze1000 I reckon its more disney channel that's the main evil that exposes kids to the horror that is hannah montana and not 'Disney' animation studios itself. They still have some soul and meaning ;)

  • @moonblaze1000 I grew up in the "crappy" generation, and I still love these ^w^

  • @moonblaze1000 Im 11 and I don't like Hannah I think shes a really bad actress that gose with the other crappy stuff, To be honest I loved dinsey like this but now it's all changed ;'(

  • @Yoshignacio

@moonblaze1000 Even when I see the new Disney stuff I just... don't wanna watch it. It looks like crap =\ Chicken Little and stuff I mean when I see that kind of thing I really don't wanna watch it I'm thankful that my parents had all these real Disney movies on VHS to show me in the late 90's 'coz it was the moment Disney went to that 3D thing.

  • thumbs up if you grew up with the real Disney! :,)

  • dose it count if i WISH i did???

  • @Ryagful sadly no only the true 1980's-1990's blood counts as we faced an incredible childhood with the most incredible creations of Disney now a day's the only Disney cartoons worth watching is phineas and ferb and bolt...

  • then f u, thumb down!

  • @Ryagful sorry to say but only the true blood of the 1990's can feel how they feel about the Disney these day's but you will NEVER understand the 1990's even if you think you do

  • @kingsterproductions Disney made Lion King and other disney movies to become a legacy for ALL of us. Do you seriously think Disney would only want us 90's generation to enjoy or even understand the fullness of The lion King and other Disney Movies.????The Lion King is a living legacy and I think those who feel they understand it, Do understand it, no matter the age.

  • @shastamania not exactly no-one from the 2000's can understand how much they miss lion king because there either to busy watching Disney new ones or watching lion king on blue-ray,they won't understand why we think the older is better they may think they do but they won't...

  • @kingsterproductions I can somewhat see where you're coming from but don't you think your sorta stereotyping the new generation. I'm a 90's generation but I've seen how much younger kids look up to movies like Lion King and I am not gonna be the one to tell them they can't enjoy or understand it because they're too young. If they feel a "True" Connection with the movie than I say right on.

  • @shastamania no you don't seem to understand what im saying i know people look up to lion king and i respect everyone that does but they cannot feel what we feel when they watch the lion king when we watch the lion king we see memories when they watch lion king they see an incredible movie that they can see and really enjoy it that what im getting at

  • @shastamania I was born in 1992, and like the kids of the generation; The Lion King was released within my timeline, meaning I was there during and after the Resurrection period and it played an active part in my upbringing. I remember from when I went to see Aladdin that they gave kids rides on trained cats and 'magic carpets' as part of the promotion. The movies were as alive and contemporary as 'The Muppets' and other kids movies are of today. We just got the better ones.

  • @Yoshignacio As opposed to the fake Disney? How do you measure its authenticity? I'm pretty sure that all Disney films have been produced by the same studio.

  • @Yoshignacio Uh, hate to break it to you, but I think "real" Disney would involve Walt Disney himself (ie Snow White, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella...)

  • i love old disney movies! 90's kid :)

  • this song is soooo good! cant explain!

  • Comment removed

  • i just listen to this emotions ... amazing all the diffrent moods

  • @smile4share agreed :)

  • "So you can ignore your past--or, learn from it!" *Simba ducks under stick* "Ha! You see? Now what are you going to do?

"First, I'm gonna take your stick."

"NONONO! Not da stick! Oi, where are you going?"

    "I'm going back!"

"Ha ha ha ha! Go! Get out of here! Whoooo! Ha ha ha! WHOOOOOO!"

Sorry. Watched this last night :)

  • I use to play this so much back in 94 when I was like 12....I just re-fell in love with it when I went to go see Lion King 3D

  • @ASUcheerguy This status makes me want to be a late 80s kid :( I was born in 94 and completely grew up on this stuff, wish it could've lasted :/

  • @smileforshare I ALWAY cry when I watch! I don't know a single person who does not like the Lion King and I think this movie will live on forever!

  • @NintendoMaster098, exactly the same at my school. I went, and everyone I told didn't say a negative thing about it being a kids movie, but expressed envy that I'd seen it.

  • Been in love with this soundtrack since it first came out, and the bit from about 2:27 on never fails to make every hair stand on end. It always feels like I've never heard it before. It's also the part I use to test the balance and volume on every stereo I've bought since then ;p

  • @smile4share I love you!

  • @smile4share Even at my high school when people say Lion King 3D it's always with respect or as a serious option to go see at the movies. It's never that joke movie that you say let's go see but don't. It's above that.

  • looks like scar and the hyenas pressed the dislike 19 times!!!

  • @smile4share i know how you feel

and when i saw this in 3D my mom and i kept smiling and laughing at each other

when all the iconic scenes and songs were being shown... *siiiiighh*

cant hate Disney Films, you know?

  • Es realmente precioso.

  • 19 people are above the stars.

  • 19 people aren't under the stars.

  • saw it 2 times in 3D!!! but there were only little kids....and some HOT teenage boys my age :)

  • @Notification93 oh...that must've sucked...:$

  • @sk8ingdude69 I went to see it in 3D and there were mostly young adults in the theatre. Therre were maybe 5 little kids xD

  • @muzicluver707 really ? I went to see it yesterday myself , but then I was the ONLY teenager seeking for old memories .. all the others, little crybabies with their mommies and daddies ...

  • One of my all time favourite movies of the 90s

  • LION KING 3D <33333333333 Ima no longer a kid but I am still going to watch it

  • Nostalgia attack...IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE !!! :')

  • ah to be 7 again and all i had to worry about was which chocolate bar to choose

  • Okay, I LOVE The Lion King. People are always saying "Oh, it's a rip-off of Kimba..." WELL I SAY WHO GIVES A SHIT.TLK is better anyways.

  • @ItsCalledHonesty ikr, it just topped the box office again in two weeks in a role for its 3D release. It even beat Moneyball and that Abduction stuff.

  • Alright, so 19 fags don't have a life, now go FUCK yourself.

  • 3:01-3:16, I want that to be my ring tone

  • 19 people grew up on hannah montana

  • @LoneSola I guess you never watched a pixar movie.

  • @MrNEStalgia

  • NOSTALGIA

  • the 19 CHildren has not been see the filmm :D <33

  • BooooWoooo I miss child tooo :(

  • I remember... I was always listenning the Lion King's cassette and felt so moved by the music. It makes me feel nostalgic of the old Disney movies.

  • If you've had the nerve to dislike this you have no soul and no love for music and orchestration.

  • This movie shall never die, it's in animation history......forever

  • This movie...is my absolute favorite Disney movie. No fucking princesses, no prince charming, just a proud lion who fights for his land back

  • @LelouViBrittania hell yes! well said :D

  • i just saw this on saturday in 3-d with my confirmation group.

Like, to be honest I wasnt around when lion king first cam eout but i watched in in like 2000 or 2001 I dont remember lol but this is uch an amazing movie, like the soundtrack and story are so complex and different that you could watch it a million times and notice something new each time. They need a television series or something.

  • When music was actually good.........now it's shitty pop'n'shit

  • I went and saw it in 3D this weekend at a 9:30pm showing and the theatre was packed with other college students...some I know play for my university's football team. Everyone was singing along, the generations below us really missed out.

  • woow *-*

  • It's impossible not to move along to the hypnotic rhythm during the 2:34+

  • haha saw lion king 3d last night..........10 years since i saw it..........completely awsome

  • i feel bad for the children who didnt grow up during these times

  • Is the lion king 3d going to be in CGI? I hope not! I like the 2d handdrawn animation
