I don't understand i got fraps the first time it worked grate had no lag nothing i almost forgot i had a screen recorder running then somthing hapend and i lost fraps and i re downloaded it from the same place i got it the first time and now it sucks lag's like shit and i dont know how to fix it

@Mrcool9152 remember FPS can change anytime and with every game so when applying this method as a fix make sure you set it as your fps in game so gameplay is normal or as close to normal as possible.

People need to realize that the real reason there is lag and fps drop is because you are running the game and fraps from the same hard drive. If you ran your game from your C drive and saved the videos from fraps in another hard drive there would be no lag.

@MrOne3ye That's probably your main problem rate there, 1 GB of ram is probably pretty low for most games anyways, laptops are not made for gaming at 1GB of ram also. Desktop 1gm would be questionable but still probably not. but 1GB of ram + being a laptop in my eyes would barely be able to run most games depending on everything really + fraps would make it lag for sure. that probably the problem.

Hey I used this video before on my old PC. I've built a new one, it's a gaming pc. In CrossFire I have on highest settings 200 - 250 FPS. So in Fraps I put in 150 or something, and I lagg. While before, on my current PC, I've recorded fine on those settings (I even made a video of it, can be seen on my channel XD). So what could it be? It's not my system, I used TuneUp even, to make sure nothing is wasted on other processes..... Thanks in advance.
