  • Nice tank should I just buy seaweed from the petstore

  • the labidochromis caeruleus (elec yellow) looks huge !

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry,, van halen

  • @sadorable. Its called pairing music with a frenzy I.e. van galen. Genius in ny opinion.

  • do every cichlid eat seaweed?

  • Is there salt in seaweed ? I have some regular seaweed for making sushi is that the same as the ones they have for fish ?

  • @espirates2 If you wash it properly first it should be fine

The seaweed used for feeding fish is nori, which is the same as the seaweed used in sushi.

  • what is it with fish and hard rock music??!!! Why fish-aquarium lovers have such horrible taste in music? Besides the fish would not appreciate this music at all.

  • Finally some good music with a cool video

  • om nom nom

  • Ha lolz the yelow one wanted it all for himself he said " mwahahahaha its mine ALL MINE"

  • what are u feeding them ???

visit my video ----> cichlid cichlid 40 gallons tank by rayban (gogo)

  • i need help with my cichlids i dont no what type they are

  • @shuu69er try searching on forums, there are dedicated ones to cichlids, post pics, and your set for some advice. your comment itself is far too vague to receive help here, and since there are 20 diffrent 'yellow ones' (example) its best to get the opinions of an expert with good photos.

  • @shuu69er go to google google will be your friend .....

  • That looks like to many for the tank. They don't get stressed out?

  • I had a yellow lab just like that. He's perfect. Mine helped make over 2000 babies. Holy shit! I sold them to the pet store all the time. I felt bad for the female LOL

  • how many have you got? ive got a 55 gallon with 9 african cichlids and i want to add 7 more. will that be too many. i have a good filtration system

  • Nice fish, terrible music.

  • pretty things, but too bad I can't have any

  • Ihave 2 electric blue Jack dempseys when iput my hand in the water ihad to go to the hospital

  • @pawzis you for real?

  • Way cool! Beautiful set up!

  • Is it a safe assumption that you breed them in a different tank? Or are they all good to do it in this one

  • yedikleri şey ne?

  • damn they love nori dont they?

  • I've heard alot about overcrowding cichlids to reduce aggression, is this the case? i currently have 8 along with and multi plunctatus sinidontis(sorry if the spellings off lol) but they are all really aggressive since we lost a few due to sickness or old age.. (we had 12) we have a 40 gallon would adding more make a difference in the aggression?

  • @Scrotch19 Yes, in my experience adding more cichlids have reduced aggression because you will have less of a chance of having one fish dominating your tank. However, if you decide to overcrowd your tank be prepared to do daily water changes or every other day especially in a 40 gallon tank.

  • food clip fail

  • How many gallons does your pump filter per hour? That water looks really clean for all those fish.

  • can they be with tiger oscars or will they eat them ?

  • @Godseeker55 oscars are south american so ya south american cichlids and african cichlids should be kept seperate.

  • Great video! :)

  • Try to fool them by putting your dirty sock in a tank :)

  • Nice video! I love cichlids. They have so much personality.

  • does the seaweed make a mess in the tank?

  • I like the part when the cichlid eats the food

  • wow i really love that orangey-yellow one with the black edged fins, what one is that ? :D x

  • is that Japanese Seaweed that people can eat?!?! lol

  • Awesome song! Awesome tank!

  • hahaha thats awsome. have you tried hand feeding? lol

  • nice tank, ppl have a look at mine its a 600ltr malawi you can find it on (daledgend1981) all comments welcome

  • woo Van Halen

  • is seaweed ok to tropheous?

  • damn like cichlid piranha

  • way tomany fish for that tank buddy

  • @birdben723

these are mbunas, you fucking idiot noob

  • What is that that they are eating!?

  • how many cichlids do u have in there

  • cool!

  • i would have to say that cichlids are probably in the top 5 best freshwater fish to own as pets... and i have to agree, the more crowded you have your tank with cichlids, the less agressive, but only crowded to a certain extent.. cant go overboard or there might be too much stress on em. great video though..

  • overcrowded?

  • GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love seaweed juz as they do.

  • ooo looks like cichlids like sea weed D:! What kind of sea weed did you use? Is it just plain dry sea weed with no salt?

  • i loved the yellow one

  • que es lo q les estas dando de comer???

  • what were they eating

  • What type of seaweed is that. Mine won't eat omega-one green seaweed. I noticed they also sell red and brown.

  • is that a nori(seaweed sheet for maki)???

  • porra show de bola mais meu oscar faz melhor hahaha

  • beautiful mate. where theyre from the lakes are loaded anyway so this is pretty much normal for african cichlids

  • cant you pair agrisve fish togther? or just one kind of agrisve?

  • @4340cupcake Yes most of these in this tank are aggressive african Cichlids from Malawi. The more crowded the tank is the less aggression they display.

It's okay or good to crowd Cichlids as long as your filters are powerful enough to deal with extra fish. Over sized Filters are best

  • @GenMata also often water changes help

  • @GenMata I have a ten gallon with a 20-30 gallon filter and the water is crystal clear and i have no problems with it. you totally right. just sayin.

  • @GenMata its doesnt depend on the power of your filter it only collect the shit , nothing more. Water changes and yes ofc filtration.

  • @AweSomo84 the filter needs to be rated for the tank.

A larger filter than needed is helpful. Less filter changes.

  • @GenMata i know but some people think filters means doing nothin ;)

  • @professorxox yes because the pufferfish's spines are poisoinous

  • imresivee collection

  • nice tank dude

  • wow! you feed it by vegetable??

  • not over crowded at all....

most fish stockist tell you it keeps aggression down.....

    it looks wicked...

.i think its the same jealous people who like 2 pop that same comment on every video they see..... GET A LIFE haha.... i bought some seaweed after watching this ....they love it...where do i get the clip from?

  • lol what food is that XD

  • i want some for sure.............. i want cichlid for dinner LOL

  • not even close to being overcrowded.

  • Lake malawi cichlids are recommended to be overstocked to control aggression.

  • One gallon of water for every inch (when it's full grown) of fish. Is the most common rule.

  • @Stain5150v lol that inch per gallon rule is the most common line of bs a lfs will tell you to sell you more fish.

  • Man i love this tank! Definitaly not overcrowded, they have plenty of room to swim, and water is clear. Cant wait till mine get big.

  • pretty fish's

  • your tank is over crowded!

  • not overcrowded at all. nice fish.

  • this is how cichlids live in the wild crowded and it keep the agression levels down

  • holy crap. cichlids of all kinds! It's proly not over crowded if ur so sure...But I think it would be really kool if they had a really big tank xP Those colorful cichlids deserve it too!

  • your aquarium is overcrowded

  • you have some very attractive cichlids in there. i just recently got into the hobby and have started with a native tank but im going to add a cichlid next and see how it all does

  • nice tank

  • It is overcrowded but with that assortment of cichlids you should overcrowd them.

  • Hey! I got an aquarium with African cichlids, but I've never seen that type of food. Could you please tell me what's that? Is that some kind of laminated algae sheet? Looks like a great way to feed mbunas.

  • @jazztronik read the description.

  • in the wild theses fish are over crowed and they are happier and less aggressive towards each other

  • what are the black fish wih orange tail callled?

  • LOve all the colors! A++++

  • You kick ass man!!!!!!!!!!

  • Tank looks sparse, plain & uninteresting both for the occupants & viewer.

  • @rubusroo68 for cichlids the acuarium HAS to be like that, i find it beautiful, the colours is brought by the fhishes

  • Comment removed

  • wow i have all the same fish like you

  • Hey how many fish is in the tank and how many gallons is in it

  • @TheCichlidsTank I bet you want to complain about it being over crowded eh?

  • @supaflywilkins Well there are alot of fish in there

  • @supaflywilkins haha

  • mmmm fuck sobrepoblacion

  • where did you buy that seaweed, and is that what you usually feed them?

  • how big do cichlids get? i was lookin at one for my little tank.. i had an oscar in a 55 but it got to big.. that thing was BITCHIN

  • @sgtdoink which cichlid are you talking about? there's thousands of different cichlids of many different sizes.

  • Over crowded? No. Too little rock? Yes. Nice tank otherwise.

  • Undercrowded ADD MORE FISHIES =D

  • beutiful fish

  • sir, this is a glorious tank.

  • NICE TANK! just a tad over stocked unless I could see the whole tank but they may just be in that one part of the tank because of the food.

  • not overstocked, u moron. read the description. this guy obviously knows what he's doing

  • @Rabid24Fan dude i didn't see the whole tank that's why I saied that and by the way any fish tank is overcrowded compared to the wild where they have so much room! read a book on the topic once in a while once in a while and you would know! ps The tank looked nice anyway!

  • well aquariums arent the wild dumbass. you cant realistically compare the two.if you knew what the hell you were talking about, you'd know that there are acceptable limits for certain species and this IS within tolerences for these fish, period. btw i have forgotten more about cichlids than you will ever know.

  • @Rabid24Fan op really thanks for admitting that you forgot! now seriously I dont want to here from you again! And I do know that they are two different things! DAM! you take things so fucking literal! I hate people who are so fucking contemptuous!

  • what is that they r eating??

  • @gdubale there eatin dry seaweed it said that in the sidebar

  • Comment removed

  • i am thinking of setting up a cichlid tank, is 125 litre o.k or is it too small, please reply thanks

  • Depends on the Cichlids you choose.

  • @sk84mony

If you want Oscars I would recommend at least 190 liters per fish. O's grow quite big and are messy messy messy.

  • hmm its ok to keep cichlids in 125 litre da main thing is that how big is da fishes are

  • :O Savages.

  • That tank would be waaaaayy better if it had a solis black or blue backdrop. But, cool vid and nice fish.

  • Great video.............

  • nice fishes

  • Is 4 platies 4 glofish 4 ghost shrimp 2 cory catfish 2 apple snails and 4 swordtails to much for a 20 gallon tank?

  • Google AqAdviser. Best Fish tank calculator out there.

  • first off gold fish are cold water fish, they should be by their self. the rest are peaceful tropical fish and would be fine in a 20 gallon tank that has been setup for at least 30 days. for every inch of fish (adult size not purchase size) from top to bottom and from head to tail not including fins you should have at least 1 gallon of water but 2 gallons would be much better. hope that helps

  • @nosyiam I would say so. It depends on the filtration but thats alot of fish for a small tank. and some cory cats can get pretty big

  • @kcamerons I have a top finn 20 and a top finn 10 filter. I have changed the list of fish to 2 honey gouramis 4 ghost shrimp 3 albino corys and mabe a golden apple snail is this to many fish?

  • @nosyiam that sounds ok, as long as you keep up with water changes. you'll see if it ends up to be too much (water will get cloudy and your nitrogen levels will be elevated even after water changes). if that ends up being the case, get rid of a cory cat; the shrimp dont use much oxygen and help to limit food waste.

  • nope...it should be fine...1inch per gallon is the cardinal rule

  • this rule does not apply to bigger fish!

  • check out my tanks , good vid

  • @mrhepden that was a boring tank wow you have 3 fish come on put a vid up when they are about 12 inches and your about to feed them then that would be a vid worth posting

  • you have no vids.

  • BECAUSE I DONT INTEND TO

  • erm ok

  • over crowed ,aggressive fish ,fry in the tank ,is a load of shit have you seen there real habitat they can be in plague perportions and spawn it all comes down to getting all of the fish as fingerlings and ALL at the small time ,Dont add fish after you set it up it makes a big diifference

  • thats so cool how bg is your tank

  • The yellow labedos are beautiful... I saw only one mbuna, the elongatus, and no peacocks or venusis... Any particular reason why? I was hoping to see at least one johanni, they're my favorite...

  • i just set up a new Cichlid tank my self. its a 29 gallon with only 6 Ciclids in it and one allege eater. Can you tell what kinds I have. I have one blue one and 5 stripped ones.

  • it will be uploaded in about 10 minutes

  • @denisesfeathers im not to sure but that tank seems rely overcrouded

  • beautiful cichlids you have, how many you have in the tank anyways

  • i have this mbuna cichlid that is black and looks sort of like a convict but isnt, and its also stripped. can anyone tell me what the name could be?

  • It is a Demasoni, I have approximately 87 of them in a Custom 12'x22"x26'' rift setup in the entertainment room. I started with around 130ish but kept removing the males that became tank dominant or made any sort of display indicating the desire to spawn, as I would not be able to safe remove the fry and the stress of the other fish eating them would kill the mother. So far no one is holding egg/fry so all is well, feed them dried seaweed, flakes, and on occasion romaine lettuce. Yummy.

  • Keep in mind that Demasoni are extremely aggressive Mbunas, I would recommend that you place them in species exclusive or with larger. equally aggressive species, as they will harass them to no end.

  • yea I got mine small and all my fish are biggger then it and it tends to leave them alone or actually hides but its not very big yet its probably about 3 inches

  • i dont think its a demosani because mine is entirely black. well i mean it could be but idk if it is. ill go with what you say for now lol. and dont worry about the whole terretory thing, i have it with a flowerhorn that hits it like if it where a feeder. and i also have it with mbunas that are about the same size. its 5 1/2 in. big. he barely picks on anyone though.

  • a good name is niggers are human 2:P

  • where can I get that sea-weed ?

  • what r u feeding them ?

  • dry sea-weed?.. i think

  • that's a gorgeous school of fish you have there! beautiful and bright colors, awesome!

    =^.^=

  • thats not over crowded damn people are stupid

If you can maintain a tank with that many fish in it then then so be it.

and the fish all look health and bright

  • ur very right, i have a ten gallon tank with 25 small fish (tetras, Danios, and guppies) all are healthy and active, and they're all beautiful!

  • siiiiik

  • Nice vid.we have a tank full also, best aquarium fish out there!

  • It was just a joke people-vert beautiful fish.

  • are you acting stupid? for answering that kind of question?

  • *asking that kind.....
