  • Hi, Guys -- here's a free coupon for free shipping to use at checkout in the vitamix store: 06-001801

    watch my how to vids.

  • The Vita-mix is awesome!!!

  • Where can i get this for a reasonable price?

  • sam,

if you happen to find a reputable place with the 7 year warranty please let me know.

  • This is the same unit as the 5200 expect it is store in high-end CIA stores.

It comes with DVD and large recipe book.

Expect to spend $475-$550 with tax.

Is it worth it??? If you use a blender everyday... it is WELL WORTH it.

  • I'm DEF going to order one soon!

  • ask anyone whos got one..its worth every penny

  • I got some nut butter right here.

  • The Vitamix maybe a good machine. But there is no way I'm paying $400 dollars for a stupid blender. I don't care how good it is. If I had Bill Gates money I wouldn't spend that much for a blender. I'm sure there's a machine out there that's just as good with a much nicer price. And I'm going to keep searching until I find it. Because this is absurd. Notice they never mention the price.

  • So you can find a blender for less the 400 but the key to the Vitamix is it's versatility. First of all, the Vitamix is really a blender, food procesor and a dough kneader in one. With 35 different operations without any other attachments and the ability to crush, grind, blend, the possibilities are endless. Oh, and lets not forget that since the Vitamix can basically pulverize anything, you can still eat the skin and the skin which is where most of the nutrition is and health is priceless.

  • Be that as it may, I still think the price is a little to steep. However, since I wrote that comment I have been seriously considering buying one of these machines. I am in the process of converting to the raw vegan diet and since I will have no use for stoves or microwaves I will definitely need something to prepare my green smoothies and such. Like you said you can't put a price on good health. I don't mind paying top dollar for something if it lives up to the hype. I sincerly hope it does.

  • Ok, here's some free advertising 4 Vita-Mix. I thought the same 2 when I purchased my machine, the price wa$ out there. Since I bot it 2 yrs. ago, it's been on my counter & it gets used every day, @ least 1x day but on average 2x/day. There's also a container w/ different blade that U can use as a mill. If you're considering vegan, U will find that helpful. Make your own flours from whole grains.I have used my regular machine 2 make rice flour. My old Waring blender doesn't come even close.

  • You're right! I have been convinced now and I am actually considering purchasing a vitamix. Being someone who's about to become a raw vegan, I can definitely see myself using the vitamix everyday making green smoothies and soups and such. I guess it's true what they say. If you want quality you're going to have to pay for it. I'm sure the vitamix will pay for itself in the long run. Thanks for the advice.

  • Do you know wether or not Vitamix sales refurbished blenders? Either way, given the quality and the versatility of the machine, I think it's a good, albeit pricey, investment.

  • They, in fact, do sell refurbished blenders on their website for a $50 dollar discount.

  • ur a jackass, this machine not only makes butter, smoothies and more but it also GRINDS MEAT, MAKES FLOUR AND MORE!

  • you will go thru so many blenders in your life time. Most commercials do not mention price. You get what you pay for.
