I like to start this movie from right after the nurses are talking about what happened in H20, and then pretend that this comes first. That way it's like she's faking her death at the beginning of it, and she's the Head Mistress afterwards.

Basically they (producers/creators) had this bright idea to make each halloween movie a "self-contained" horror movie. (Same name, different story)...They thought people didn't really need micheal (wrong) in the movies for the movie itself to be successful (again wrong) and it blewup in their faces because this movie tanked at box office.

I commend them for at least trying something different.

I honestly liked this movie, honestly anything with Michael myers, I will love to death, Rob Zombies 2007 movie was tollerable, his 2009 movie was absolutly awful. I'm gonna have to disagree. At least Rob's films did not attempt to ruin the continuity of the original films and while not masterful was much more well made than this lame cash-in with the dumbest most sell-out plot they could've thought of at the time (The whole reality TV thing)

I kinda felt bad for Michael in Ressurection for some reason... He probably wasn't gonna even kill anyone after he killed Laurie. But of course some stupid dumbass teenagers go into his house and get their asses killed and then they blame Michael for it and burn him... To me this movie was pretty much pointless they tried to make all cool and shit and that killed it...

However, I can understand how some might feel angry, I too am a fan of the character of Michael Myers. Halloween 3 was disappointing, not bad. There is a difference, I think it would have recieved excellent reviews otherwise.

I really like this version of the theme. While not particularly loud or fast-paced, it has certain edits and sound effects that make it sound EXTRA creepy and ominous. In my opinion, this is the best version of the theme of them all (that's not including the original), just slightly ahead of H6 and H2.

So...about the ending (Spoiler alert). Michael is in the morgue right? And the coroner opens the body bag, and then Michael screams? Well, even though the ending is sort of ambiguous, does the ending mean that Michael has finally come to his senses, or does it reveal that he is in fact a human and not a superhuman, or does it mean that he is gonna kill again (Even though it's highly doubtful they will make another movie).

This is probably one of the best renditions of the theme out there behind the original '78 films theme, the original H2 theme, and both RZ's Halloween and H2 themes. I'd say that the rest of H:R's score had little to be desired, but the main theme (for me) is what matters the most. As long as you don't screw it up I'd at least watch the film to listen to the theme (which is pretty much the only reason I watch H:R.) It's creppy, and chilling. The way the Halloween theme is meant to be.
