I'm dying to know how on earth he survived that plane crash....

Also, WHY was he on the plane anyway? I think it's likely he was kidnapped by those mercenaries. Also, WHY were they flying over the desert? Was their intention to land somewhere in the desert? It's likely they were trying to find the lost city of Iram. But WHY did they have Drake with them? He probably had knowledge of how to get to Iram. OR Did they need his ring? Why not kill him and then take the ring?

Uncharted 2 was jaw dropping in every department and a bloody hard act to follow but I feel confident ND won't let us down with the next outing. So that's UC3, Crysis2, Bulletstorm, Resistance3, HL2 Epi3, Rage, Brink, Borderlands DLC5 and Portal2 for this years PS3 leisure time - so glad I didn't kill myself yesterday hahaha.

I really wish Naughty Dog would make iron-sight mode. Same as MGS4...once you are in over-the-shoulder zoom just press one more button to go into iron-sight mode. It just makes it more immersive.

NaughtyDog put the inital release date of November 1st because they don't want any delays and in case they do get a delay, they would much rather keep the release date as it is, than to piss all the fans off and post-pone the release date. They are about 1/4 done the game so they said that they will make the release day sooner if they finish early.

Most of the things in this trailer are the kind of things we saw in Uncharted 2 that looked just as good in-engine. There's too many visible edges in this for it to be a CG trailer; when you go CG, everything is high-poly and doesn't use normal maps.

I can't say for certain as I've not read where they say if it is or is not, but it does not look like a CG trailer to me. This looks like in-engine scenes. That said, it looks glorious. Almost an entire year's wait... going to be hard.
